I've been here twice. Once for take-out, and another sitting down. Both times were awful, and I…read morewould never go back. When I was working downtown my co-worker and I ordered lunch and I went to pick it up. She ordered the quesadilla with a side of nachos and salsa, I ordered the nachos with beef. I was told to come in 20 mins, and did. When I arrived, the place was empty, so it wasn't busy at all. I then waited for another 10 mins while he made the quesadilla. That was unacceptable in my opinion. There's no reason why both dishes could not have been completed at the same time so I didn't have to wait there while my food was getting cold. I got back to the office and of course my nachos had started to cool. All that was on them was cheese sauce, some hot peppers and the beef. The beef was actually quite good. I thought it was going to be ground beef, but it was nice, tender pieces of steak. I was not happy with the fact that I did not get sour cream and guacamole with my nachos, despite it saying on the menu that it came with it! ! The second time I went, I ate in with a friend. Again, the place was dead, we were the only ones there. We ordered nachos to start. Boy did it take forever for them to be brought out. In fact, the waiter got his meal and sat at the bar and was sitting down eating when the chef brought out the nachos. When the nachos came out I was surprised that they were different than the nacho chips that I had ordered to go the last time. It was clearly just a basket of no-name nacho chips that you can buy at any grocery store. The cheese sauce, if you can even call it that, looked like watered down orange paint. There was a faint hint of cheese when you dipped the nachos in it. Again, we had to ask for sour cream and guacamole, despite the menu saying it came with the nachos. I ordered a burrito for my main. Our waiter eventually finished his meal and went back into the kitchen and brought out our food. I was insulted when the waiter asked me if I knew how to eat a burrito and explained how I eat it with my hands. Excuse me? First of all, I didn't realize there was one way you could eat a burrito. Second of all, are you saying that if I wanted to eat it with a knife and fork I wouldn't be allowed to? That aside, the burrito itself was quite tasty, and definitely filling. Unfortunately that's not enough to save this place in my books. I would not come back to eat. I am intrigued about the free Latin dancing lessons though.

First of all I have to say Lisa B. You' re a little to much. Do you whine like this about…read moreeverything you experiance? The enviornment is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is awsome. The staff is Very friendly and they always remember my name. As for the food the nachos there are the best I've had outside making my own at home. The staff is always prompt and respectable. Sangria has an awsome dance floor with great music. I enjoy dancing and Sangria has the biggest dance floor in downtown. The energy is great I have meet and danced with many people and made new friends everytime I go. There everyone is happy. Enjoying dancing and having a great time. I will always go to Sangria it is my favorite dance spot. M

Disappointing Turnaround - Great Potential, Terrible Service and Quality Control…read more We had a great experience during our first couple of visits and for that, they get a couple of stars. Even though their signature dishes are Salvadoran, we order their traditional tacos, and they were easily a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, our visit today literally and metaphorically left a bad taste in our mouths, and we will not be returning. My wife and I ordered our usual four tacos each. The moment we both bit into the Al Pastor, we immediately looked at each other in shock, the meat tasted foul. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I figured they might just not sell their pork as often, but it was bad enough that it should never have been served in the first place. The real issue was how management handled it. I brought the matter up to a female staff member, and then to a male staff member who stepped in because she didn't understand me. Instead of handling the feedback professionally, the gentleman defensively questioned if I even "knew how marinated pork tasted" and then gave us the cold shoulder. I explicitly told them I was still going to pay our bill in full; I just wanted to alert them to a potential food safety issue. There was no apology, no courtesy offer, and absolutely no accountability. They simply went into denial and thought we didn't know the difference between marinated pork and spoiled meat. To top it off, when I went to pay the bill, the same man pointedly told me I needed to select a tip option on the screen before I could tap my card. While I normally have no issue tipping, I was in utter disbelief at the audacity to push for a tip after such a defensive and unaccountable interaction. I genuinely hope their kitchen and pantry hygiene are up to standard so no one gets sick, and I wish them well. However, they completely lost a customer today due to poor quality control and even worse customer service.
