Looks like a dive bar but then you get pass the piss, graffiti just kidding, get pass the door and the red drapes and it's sort of steampunk. Lots of 80's music playing, a full menu of drinks and munchies and we're off to a good start. I had this lovely Gin drink that came with a basil leaf. Absolutely sinful.

La Provence - very good cocktail

**THIS REVIEW IS 3,5 STARS** This place has different vibes depending on the time and day you go. I had an experience in both the bar and the restaurant. I friend got us a last minute reservation to dine on Friday night. The table was available from 9-10:30pm which was enough time to order food, eat and move to the bar before the other reservation arrived. Decor is stunning, I loved the vintage/hidden vibe of the restaurant and most would say is quite a nice speakeasy, some of it even reminded me of Titanic. Service was a little confusing and slow. It took about 20 min to get our drinks and 40 to get the food. My friend and I decided to order two drinks and share. We got La Provence and Desde Cuba. The first one is kind of a gin tonic with a lemon twist and the second is a house signature drink that comes in a little brown bag and has smoked rum. I liked both, but the smoked rum was a little too smoked and one cup of it seemed more than enough for my taste. To eat I ordered the gnocchi. It has A LOT of cheese, and it tasted delicious. I really enjoyed my meal, but I can understand that it might be a little heavy for some people. It was a little over 10 and they told us the next reservation had arrived. We ordered the bill - because you need to pay what you consumed in the restaurant, even if you are moving to the bar- l but it took a very long time to arrive. Machine didn't work with my card, and I had to use an emergency credit card to pay my bill - Argentina hates using cards for some reason. At the bar I tried ordering gin and they said they were out of the two brands I asked for, funny enough one of them was in the first drink I ordered so I wonder what they put instead, while charging me for the expensive liquor. In conclusion: nice vibe, good food, great soundtrack although a little loud. Service could be better.

Veggies sandwich with fries. Best $95 pesos I've ever spent

A little cafe by day and a secret bar by night. How fun!! Strolled by for some afternoon lunch and came upon this unassuming hole in the wall. Service was excellent and the prices great. Had a burger with fries and a veggie sandwich with fries. Hamburger was great and the veggie sandwich will make you love veggies again!!

Nice little place decorated like a cross between a vintage diner and a sort of light steampunkish-Jockey Club parlor. Ordered the burger with sweet potato fries on the side. Meat was tasty and smooth. Nice jar of passion fruit.

    Victoria Brown is delightful.

Steampunk bar full of surprising delights. Great for any meal, great for working, great for drinks. The menu may be small, but it's more than enough. The unique and exquisite food dishes include breakfast with eggs (which alone makes this place worth visiting), as well as their famous "spicy french toast". Good environment for working any time in the day. There's plenty of space before 4pm, and the wifi seems to be reliable. The ambience is what tipped my review over to 5 stars. It's rare to find a spot so unique and delightful. The steampunk theme is unmistakeable but not over-the-top. Subtleties like exposed pipes and surprises like a hidden door make this place as memorable as any. Immediately one of my favorite spots in Palermo, even though I have yet to go at night, which is what others have recommended. This is one place I'll be returning to frequently.

Spicy French Toast (Probably the only place you will actually find something decently spicy in Argentina)

Awesome little hipster/indie cafe in the Palermo area. Prices are good considering you really get what you payed for. The coffee was bueno and the Spicy French Toast was very very muy bueno. They have little menu options and not everything on the cake menu is actually what they have but regardless it was great service, very clean environment, delicious and high quality food, and overall a great experience.

    Outside with beautiful art.

Amazing steampunk bar with excellent bartenders. The entire interior is composed of brass pieces including the insides of a clock behind the bar. Drinks were stellar. A+!

Great little place in Palermo SoHo that serves actual breakfast & brunch! They take American Express and Visa.

Great hide bar!! I really like the concept! I would have never known it's there if it was not of our apartment manager Mariano! The door men were super nice and welcoming. Once they open the brick wall door, you are taken by a great lounge atmosphere, super intense and warm. You just want to go and mingle with everyone while having a drink. Amazing place!

The places were loud and the music was not cohesive to the ambiance. We luckily found the Harrison Speakeasy and we had such a wonderful time. It's open late and really gives the speakeasy vibes that so many "speakeasies" are lacking these days. The music was great. The DJ was very impressive and played a nice array of music. Seamlessly mixing old and new salsa and more. The drinks - we finally had some good drinks here! I was so happy after the previous bars we had been to. The only downside here was that we got there and were having such a good time, then it closed and we were left wanting more. It was such a nice time and I really appreciated the opportunity to visit during our trip!

To enter,…read moreyou must walk through the restaurant and a server will take you behind the wine cellar and a "Time Machine". It was a bit funny seeing another country's interpretation of "American culture" but I think Harrison nailed it - from the New York newspaper menus to the classy interior to the expertly made cocktails. I could not decide on the cocktail menu, so the bartender asked me what my preferences were. She whipped up a mint banana drink and it was SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. Like one of the best cocktails of my life. AND it was only $6!! (Granted, all the cocktails in Buenos Aires are $6 USD) During my visit to Buenos Aires I also tried two of the "world's top 50" bars: Tres Monos and Floreria Atlantico. Honestly, I think Harrison has them both beat in terms of ambiance and beverage. Wonderful experience and I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town.

Arriving back from Iguaza Falls, we decided to risk a very late dinner here without reservations…read more The uber ride dropped us off and a pleasant employee guided us to the location as we were a bit bewildered as to where the flower shop storefront was located. We loved the florist- yes plenty of fresh flowers in the shop, They opened the walk in fridge door and we walked downstairs to the speakeasy amid the dj spinning records. We were seated at a table and a very pleasant server ( who spoke English) dropped of our menus and took our drink orders. My aperol spritz was refreshing and hubby enjoyed his cocktail too. Our preferences for seafood or veggies allowed our server to make recommendations that were amazing. The complimentary sourdough bread was devoured- it had been a long 24 hrs without much food - another story! The crab empanada was large enough to share and was AMAZINGLY yummy. No wonder it is one of the most ordered dishes. Hubby loved his anchovy crostini, the BBQ shrimp - delicious, and we shared the argula salad- also a winner. Not much wait for an Uber back to our Airbnb at 1am- time to prepare for tomorrow's departure. Hope to return in the future!

We came on a Friday around 6:30 PM and were seated right away. The vibe was calm enough to hold a conversation, though we were told that around 9:30 PM a DJ comes on and the energy shifts. After walking through the flower shop, a host led us through a hidden door and down a flight of stairs into the bar. The menu is extensive, so it took us a few minutes to decide, but our cocktails arrived quickly. Presentation is simple with no flashy garnishes, yet the drinks were crystal clear and incredibly balanced. They were so good we finished them fast. Highly recommend the Yvy Maraey (14,800 ARS)!
