TL;DR: Sheldon is a decent photographer but unless you get everything in writing you will not…read morereceive the service that you expected. We only received 85 photos. He is very obviously inexperienced in running a business and his customer service is poor. If you would like details of our experience read below. We used him as our wedding photographer. Before reading this keep in mind that my wife and I are VERY low maintenance and that bedsides Sheldon we had zero issues with any of our wedding vendors. Sheldon is a decent photographer but has poor business sense and customer satisfaction. Nothing was put into writing, he communicated with my wife via text. I asked my wife to try to get a contract of some type, she told me that he only communicated by text. We met him in person 5 months before the wedding and nothing was written down. I am not sure if he misremembered, was trying to rip us off or thought he undercharged us in retrospect but he only shot the ceremony and left before the reception, claiming that we only signed up for the "ceremony package". There was no "packages" mentioned in any of his text messages. We thought this was odd as we had arranged for a place for him to stay (as discussed at our meeting) as the reception could go late. Rather than get into an argument right before the reception we decided to let him walk. We were very disappointed once we got the photos. We only received a total of 85 photos. We did a photo shoot in the woods after the ceremony. Besides the photo shoot, we feel his heart was not in it. He missed a lot of critical photos (ie unobstructed photo returning up the aisle, we never got a photo of us at the alter that included the the wedding party, only one photo of each set of parents...) and when I asked if he had any more photos for us he would hide behind two excuses 1) He provides quality over quantity 2) We didn't specifically ask him for that shot. I was not aware that we had to give the photographer specifics. It is his job to capture the moment. I am ok if people make misjudgments or if there is miscommunication, sh*t happens. The reason I am writing this review is I feel that Sheldon was rude and dishonest when we got our final product and expressed discontent. We also shoulder a certain amount of the blame as I would normally never get a service of this type without a contract.

Although it was super short notice he was so accommodating and made the whole process effortless. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm just over the moon with how everything came together. The photos are better than I could have imagined. I will definitely be booking him for our upcoming wedding!
