Cheap, made in China products. Very expensive for the quality, too. You can find much better products for much less, even on Ebay.

When I saw the Oakbrook Center mall directory, I was stoked to see Paper Source and that it was open until 9pm on a Monday evening. I naturally had to come in to check out the selection. It's dangerously addicting and it was hard to control myself from wanting to take the store with me. I came in wanting to see what I can get last minute for others but ended up spoiling myself -- self care, right. I found a cute journal that's good for up to 3 years, and it's a daily question you answer about self care which I think is truly necessary in these trying times. I can use some daily affirmations, and then I found these cute narwhal pens so I had to get them too. The staff were friendly and available as needed. I love that I wasn't upsold anything, I wasn't followed around, and I was given the space to do my thing. When I had questions the two ladies were more than happy to assist me, though they couldn't find an item I was looking for, I still appreciate their efforts and how they worked together. It's one of the better experiences I've had in person at Paper Source. I also wasn't pressured to sign up for anything. I do have to say that the Paper Source location I've been to in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood does have a bigger selection than this one. However, the brand and this location is still pretty consistent, it just doesn't have everything and if they do it's in smaller quantities. I do recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for stationery items, greeting cards etc.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other couples about our experience…read morewith Eventful Designs. We hired Christy for our wedding invitations with a budget of over $3,000, expecting professional service and a beautiful finished product. What we received was an absolute nightmare that has left us scrambling the night before our invitations need to go out. The invitations arrived completely unassembled. When I questioned this, I was informed there was a $400 assembly fee that was never mentioned or discussed during our consultations. Any professional vendor would have been crystal clear about this upfront rather than springing it on clients at delivery. The belly bands we had discussed were also missing entirely. When I brought this up, I was told it was noted as "something discussed but not finalized." If there was any question about what was included in our order, that should have been clarified before production--not left for us to discover when it's too late. We're mailing these invitations later than planned largely because Christy took an unusually long time to replicate a simple pattern, even though we provided her with an exact example of what we wanted. The back-and-forth added weeks to the process. We're now forced to spend our evening doing the assembly work ourselves that we paid over $3,000 for. What was supposed to be a fun family activity stuffing invitations has turned into a stressful project frantically completing work a professional was hired to do. Our invitations will now look homemade despite the premium price tag. When I expressed how unacceptable this situation was, Christy offered a $250 refund. On an order over $3,000 where we're doing the assembly work ourselves with missing components? That's insulting. When I pushed back, she refused to offer more and suggested we could drive to her location to have her complete them or have someone pick them up--which doesn't work with our work schedules or mailing timeline. Her final email essentially said "take it or leave it" and wished us well. No real accountability, no genuine effort to make this right. Just a complete lack of professionalism and customer service throughout the entire process. We are now consulting with an attorney about our options given that we did not receive the complete services we paid for. If you want clear, upfront communication about pricing and what's included, a vendor who follows through on commitments, professional service worthy of premium pricing, to actually receive a finished product, and less stress during wedding planning--look elsewhere. There are plenty of invitation designers who will treat you professionally and deliver what they promise. Eventful Designs is not one of them. Save yourself thousands of dollars and countless hours of stress. We deeply regret choosing this vendor and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

First and foremost, Mary Kay (MK) is the absolute best!…read more If Yelp would allow me give her 100 stars, I absolutely would! My sister and I walked into 221 Creations on Monday, August 6, 2018 with worry in our eyes. My wedding is Saturday, October 6, 2018 and we knew we had to get these invitations out as quickly as possible. Mary Kay sat and gave us all the time we needed. My sister and I looked in the invitation book and we figured we'd have to pass on my favorite option because the paper only came in ecru. MK called the printer to get the invitation paper in white. She made it happen! We ordered the addresses to be printed on the invitation envelopes and she was an immense help with the invitation wording etiquette. The invitation company suggested four glue dots to paste the invitation on the backing but Mary Kay suggested that a different form of tape would be easier to apply and it would be more durable. She could have easily ordered those dots but she knew it would be a pain to do which we really appreciated when it came to assembling the invitations. Once we had decided on the invitations and text, she submitted the order to the printer and told us she would follow up with a proof via email the next day. As promised, we received the proof email and once we responded with our approval, she instantly submitted the order to print. We had the invitations in hand yesterday, Thursday, August 16 at 1:30pm. She communicated with us from the moment we walked into the shop until we had the invitations in hand. I can't stress how pleasant MK made the invitations process for us! Mary Kay went above and beyond to make sure that my sister and I were beyond happy with every detail. Mary Kay is patient, kind, funny, courteous and understanding. She did not try to up sell us or con us into buying anything we did not need. It is evident that Mary Kay has her customer's best interests in mind. Planning a wedding is stressful, but I know that anything I ask of MK will be done correctly and efficiently! It is a joy to work with her! Go and see her for everything wedding and beyond. I'm not going to stop here, we plan to order our wedding ceremony programs, wedding menu cards, place cards, bridesmaid's & groomsmen's gifts etc. from MK. Mary Kay, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
