The facility is very spacious. There's a main training area and then another smaller room with mats and workout equipment for other classes or free rolling. The place is also extremely clean and the vibe is great. If you've been to a martial arts academy with a bad vibe you will know what I mean, but this place is nothing but positive. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and got us situated with a 10 day trial and my friends with rental gi's. We were then greeted by the head coach John Ingallina who is the embodiment of a professional. He is extremely welcoming, kind, professional, and explained the whole Gracie Combatives system to us. During class he was great at explaining the techniques being taught, and made good work of going to each person and ensuring they did it right. As an out of towner I was completely welcomed by the staff and other class members. I 100% would recommend this, and have done so to my 2 friends who I am very close to.

After speaking with the coaches and hanging with the guys(rolling) I immediately knew this was a great fit for me. Very knowledgeable coaching and the family vibe I received was more than enough to make me feel comfortable, especially with a close combat sport as this. Soon enough I came to call everyone at flow my brothers and sisters. Never knew how much cardio and technique there was in BJJ. Very fun and can be as demanding as you want it to be, from just regular exercise, to tournaments, and even getting in the ring. You will not be disappointed.

It's a shame because he really loved the instructor, but the rest of the employees are a bunch of shady salesmen praying on parents who love their kids trying to squeeze every nickel they can from them. They could be a real asset to the community if they didn't let their greed get in the way. The instructor is telling students there butts will be on YouTube if there parents don't secure…read morethere pants correctly(which is beyond ridiculous and my child should never feel shamed for something as he is 5 and is still learning everything) , he also is telling my child his head would fall off and explain in detail what would happen to his head when it fell off for having a necklace on, communication is very poor if there are belt tests coming up should always be announced at the end of class or hand out flyers that something is coming up and how to pay for it, the instructor yells at parents when they try to talk to there child and makes them feel belittled, consistency with the classes is all over the place.

If you have a child looking for martial arts training or just some exercise to build confidence Dan's small class size and personality will get them strong, encouraged, empowered, and disciplined. Joining his classes is like joining his family. Dan told me a story once of a young boy who went home and practiced writing his name for hours so he could sign himself in better. The parents were amazed! It's not just about martial arts.
