Disappointed..this spot used to never Disappoint..always hit the spot...but it looks run down and worst of all the Pizza slices not looked old and dry they actually tasted awful...Im done with this location its not the same ..I get times change..to be fair the deserts are decently good...Costco frozen pizza taste better out the oven..I apologize for my harsh review but it's an honest one

Came and got the Philly cheese. Man this thing is LOADED. I'll come clean and admit I was only able to finish half... Because of this gigantic slice(this was their smallest piece) of tiramusi that they gave me on the house. The pictures don't do enough justice and the coke can is there for scale.

Y'all I am shocked. I finally found my favorite pizza(margarita) and wings(buffalo). The ranch dressing has me so upset I didn't get a side of it in addition to what you get with the wings. The wings are meaty and tender. The pizza was gigantic -just for me so I'll have a meal for a week. So tasty. I will absolutely order again.

I've always been a fan of Victor Jr.'s. And by always, I'm going on 30 years of ordering pies for work lunches and popping in a slice or a freshly made salad and some zucchini. Sadly since the pandemic Victor Jr's got lost in my usual lunch spots, (mostly because I now avoid downtown Culver City due to their "Move" traffic configuration). But today I was craving some Fried Zucchini and knew exactly where to go to fill the crave! Victor Jr.'s never disappoints with their perfectly golden Italian Style Fried Zucchini and house made ranch! Today was no different! Same charming welcome as you walk in, same friendly and fast service, same sidewalk dining outside, same consistent quality of a slice of pizza & zucchini to go, but I can't lie, the sticker shock hit hard on the wallet. Not sure where their slice lunch special went but it's missed. I'm not saying I won't be back (because those zucchini have a special place in my heart), but $30 for a pizza and holy cow the lunch specials Philly Cheesesteak, a coke and fries is up to 22.68!) aren't really a special deal anymore. And I get it, the economy sucks, minimum fast food wages in CA are up and their rent is probably up too. I just will hate to see a 40 plus year Culver City institution disappear if they can't sustain the inflated economy. Tips: Bring some quarters or change for metered street parking. Sidewalk dining is quaint and always they always clean the tables.

Truly one of the best out here! Their pizza is made to order, customer service is great, and Victors cousin Chet who took over the business is so personable. I was working across the street at the studios and needed a quick turnaround to feed my team and they delivered so quick and even threw in some cookies. Quality is top notch. Please please please support, you won't regret it!

We finally got the chance to try Victor Jr's local pizza place after many recommendations. The pizza was delicious and ginormous, the garlic knots were addicting too. The house made ranch was one of the best I've had, definitely worth the extra cost. The workers were very friendly and came out on the patio to check on us, they even gave us free cookies for our first visit. Would definitely recommend the food and supporting a family business!

Really solid cheesesteak! Hard to find a good, authentic cheesesteak in LA but Vic Jrs version is top tier. Crunchy but still soft Italian hoagie bread, quality steak and plenty of cooper sharp cheese take this sandwich above all others I've tried out here. Garlic knots were on point to.

Good pizza, very nice people. Good pizza doesn't come cheap, but you can taste the quality of the ingredients.

Despite having three types of pepperoni, this does not mean the pizza is going to be covered head to toe with pepperoni slices. The tomato sauce was the best indicator that we were eating a fresh pizza. The crust was crunchy and the cheese had a nice pull. A lot of oil pooled on the bottom which was the only downside. However, I would come back again to try the other pizzas. Note: Market Pizza is located in a back patio surrounded by Jackson Place (apartments for rent) and Jackson Market (historic neighborhood cafe and deli). Follow map directions - you'll second guess yourself at first if you park on the main street because Market Pizza and Jackson Market are part of the neighborhood itself and are not surrounded by your typical commercial businesses. It's a soothing environment for brunch with draping vegetation and cute furniture. Beware of flies during daytime. The store itself only had two people working (one person mostly taking orders and one person mostly cooking) so it took a while to make the pizza because the wood fired oven isn't necessarily humongous and there were several people who had ordered before us. No buzzer so if you decide to wander around or if your table is out of earshot, you'll have to check in as they verbally call orders. I had no idea when my order was coming up but they were friendly about me checking in whenever I walked up.

I went up to him and asked him if there was a restroom and he looked up and said yes. And then kept working to make the pizza and said nothing else. I decided to wait a minute or two for him to finish up so not to bother him while working so I just stood there for some time right in front of him and when he was done making the pizza. I asked him "excuse me, do you know where the restroom is?". He knew I was waiting there right in front of him the whole time and knew that he was ignoring me. And he outright yelled and said "what's the magic word??" With this angry and annoyed look on his face... I was shaken up and said "where is the restroom please?" And he told me where in the most annoyed voice. And I said thank you and left. This is the most unprofessional the outright rude way I have ever been spoken to.

A Failure of Hospitality We live in the neighborhood and had…read morebeen looking forward to trying this restaurant. From the street, it looked inviting, and the interior delivered an unexpectedly design-forward vibe, along with the unique gourmet take on pizzas. Our host was friendly, and our server was engaging and knowledgeable, offering several thoughtful recommendations. So far, so good. Unfortunately, the experience took an unexpected turn when we ordered. My girlfriend is lactose intolerant, so we selected a red-sauce pizza and made a simple request: prepare approximately one-quarter of the pizza without mozzarella, leaving the remaining three-quarters exactly as the recipe intended. This would allow her to enjoy a couple of slices while respecting her dietary restriction. It was hardly an extraordinary request. It was also a quiet Sunday evening. We were one of only four guests in the restaurant. This wasn't a request being made of an overwhelmed kitchen in the middle of a Friday night. We were told that the restaurant preferred not to alter the recipes. I made it clear that I respected the restaurant's menu and wasn't asking anyone to reinvent a dish. I was simply asking for a reasonable accommodation. I told our waiter that without the accommodation, the menu was too limited for my girlfriend and we had no other choice than to leave and find another restaurant. I asked him to please speak with the manager and request the courtesy of that accommodation. After our waiter consulted the manager, George, his response was that restaurant policy did not allow modifications. Given that George was sitting only a few tables away from us, I subsequently spoke with him and asked whether this policy was particularly punitive toward a customer with a dietary restriction. He sat there with a distant stare, paused, looked away, and said that the pizza could be made with 100% mozzarella or no mozzarella at all. And therein lies the remarkable disconnect. Apparently, removing all the cheese is permissible, but leaving it off one-quarter of the pizza is not. What exactly is the distinction? This wasn't a request to change the recipe (although one might argue that George's suggestion to remove all the cheese was, in fact, doing exactly that), introduce a new ingredient, or create something outside the menu. It was a request for a simple courtesy. There seems to be a fundamental confusion between protecting a restaurant's recipes and adhering to a corporate policy at the expense of the very people the restaurant exists to serve. A standardized recipe may be important to the business, but when following it becomes more important than accommodating a perfectly reasonable dietary restriction, something has gone seriously wrong with the restaurant's understanding of hospitality. We ultimately left without ordering. What should have been a pleasant neighborhood dinner became an unnecessarily uncomfortable experience, particularly for someone who was simply trying to navigate a dietary restriction. A restaurant's reputation is built on more than what's coming out of the kitchen. It's built on judgment, flexibility, and the ability to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, this situation reflects a manager more concerned with keeping his job and following corporate policy than with the genuine experience of local customers. The host was great. The waiter was wonderful. The manager failed. We came hoping to discover a new neighborhood favorite. We left knowing we wouldn't be back.

We'd order again, and even come in to eat, either out on the patio or inside. Seemed like a very family-friendly, laid-back vibe. We placed our order and had found a table outside for our family of four. It had to be cleared and wiped down and they said they would send someone over as soon as they could. We had been waiting there for a little while and tried to check in with any staff that we saw walking by. Unfortunately, the person that we asked seemed really frazzled and was a bit rude (despite asking nicely). I guess I can't fault them with how busy and chaotic it was. They delivered our order to our table and we ate quickly to try and escape the chaos. We ordered the honey bear pizza, the roasted sweet potatoes and the spicy rigatoni alla vodka. All three were delicious. I wouldn't say any of these were the best I've ever had, but they were good for a fast casual dining establishment. My toddler daughter thoroughly enjoyed the rigatoni, it wasn't too spicy for her. And we loved the sweet potatoes. All and all we had a good experience with the food. The service was lacking. However, I will say that I've been here on a weekday at the same time and everything was great. I would just recommend not coming on a Friday evening for an early dinner unless you're looking to be overstimulated and dealing with staff that are spread a bit thin.
