He is a great Doctor. He takes the time to listen and cares. I did have a bit of a wait but it was worth it.

I just couldn't take it anymore and neither could my coworkers so I researched Yelp and Google and Dr. Cohen appeared to be a good choice. I also appreciate the late office hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I've struggled with allergies the majority of my life and Claritin had been taking care of it but it just wasn't working as well anymore. When I called to make an appointment I was informed that to see Dr. Cohen would be about a month out. I agreed to see the PA, Robert Rowe, and was able to get in within a week. My appointment was at 5:30. As a new patient, I filled out a little paperwork and went back shortly after I handed it in. Staff is very friendly even that close to closing time. I was really happy with my visit with Mr. Rowe. He spent a considerable amount of time going over my history and my issues and a course of treatment which involved the use of a Nedi Pot among other things. I knew what one was but honestly they seemed gross to me but I am the type of person that will follow a prescribed course of treatment so I did it. A week later Life Changing is how I feel about adding the Nedi Pot into my routine. I still have a couple follow up appointments scheduled and some further testing that needs to be done but for now I am breathing clearly and have never felt better. read more

Was trying to schedule an appointment with the doctor's office, and was asking questions about scheduling. I asked maybe 2-3 questions about what the initial appointment would be, and she began to give attitude. I brushed it off, and then decided maybe this wasn't the place for me. While struggling to find a allergist in Vegas who gave a damn I was yet again in another drs office, paying another copay, praying something would be different. Absolutely love this place. Located on eastern and Harmon by UNLV. Dr. Rowe has been my doctor for two years. He comes in and saves my life everytime. I have severe asthma and allergies that royally mess up my life on the daily. They get me in with ease and work well with my insurance. They also give me really good samples of inhalers that fit my needs before ordering them at the pharmacy. This place also gives allergy shots. I use to get them but they reacted really bad with me so I come here for all of my asthma and allergy needs. The facility is so clean, and the staff here are so nice. I love Jessica and Dora at the front too. They're so accommodating and kind! Love this place. read more

Dr Cohen is a great doctor that really cares about his patients. I have been a patient for 3-4 years and he has been extremely helpful in my quest to control my severe allergies. I have gotten to know the entire staff and everyone is great! They do their best to run an "on time" office with appointment times which I really appreciate. I think the longest I've waited after my appt time was 15 minutes and Dr Cohen actually called the desk so they could let me know he was stuck in traffic. This review wouldn't be complete without including Bob Rowe. He is the nurse practitioner in the office and is awesome! It is easier to get an appointment with him if you are sick or need urgent care. Bob is very knowledgeable and a truly caring person. Not to mention, he has a great sense of humor :-) I have been to a few of the other allergists in town and have never been impressed. There is definitely something special about Dr Cohen's office and staff. I highly recommend visiting their office if you have allergies/asthma. read more

Allergy season is in full affect and my sinuses are screaming! This place is a little out the way but the only place I could get an appointment at a reasonable time. On top of that, this would be the first allegist I've seen in almost 10 years. SHEEESH! The waiting area is big enough and has two different desks, one for the allergist and one for the shots. The receptionists were kind of a drag and would be compared to clerks at the DMV. I tried practicing my comedy act with them, but no one bit my bait. I have to blame them because let's be honest, I'm funny LOL (jk). Once you're called back, the nurses bring you into a room to ask more questions and do some testing. There's bBig furniture recliner chairs in the actual rooms which is odd and unexpected but a pleasant surprise. The nurse with the short platinum hair that helped me out was super sweet. She built a lot of rapport with me and I appreciated her impressionable personality. My doctor was actually his practitioner Dr Robert Rowe. Wanted to ask if he was related to Mike (dirty jobs), but I knew that was such an amateur move. He was nice. Some of his small talk was a bit awkward and made me realize why Doctors don't really do small talk. All in all, they were helpful and great. I was scheduled for a couple more follow up appointments and was sent on my way with 5 different prescriptions. Thanks to Dr. Rowe, my allergies are tamed...for now! read more

Horrible experience with staff. Made an appointment for my son to have his usual allergy shot, got there, signed in, waited 10-15min., when it was finally my son's turn to get his shot, the nurse stated that my son's antigen was expired. I was angry and disappointed because I made an appointment and they agreed to this appointment only to let me drive halfway across town, waste my gas, took time off work, just to find out my son's antigen was expired. That's like a mechanic scheduling your car to be repaired, yet when you get to the shop, there were no parts to repair the vehicle. Very unprofessional and inappropriate way to conduct health care for a patient. When I asked for Dr. Estrada's contact number, they gave me the number to human resources, how disrespectful is that. I'm entitled to be able to speak to my son's allergist to discuss my son's health, yet they give me a HR number, very incompetent staff. That alone, to me, questions their levek of competency. Never go there again. Very unsafe atmosphere. read more

I have been seeing Dr Cohen for approximately eight years. i was referred to him through coworkers. Actually in the eight years I have been receiving allergy shots from Dr. Cohen, I have actually only been seen by Dr. Cohen TWICE. I have gone to the office at least once a month, sometimes twice a month for over eight years for allergy shots. I have asked why I don't ever see Dr. Cohen, and I have been told Dr. Cohen is actually retired and has sold his practice to Dr. Estrada. Dr Estrada just keeps Dr Cohen's name on the door to not lose existing patients. Since Dr. Estrada has taken over, I am not exactly sure how long that's been since the office kept it a secret, Dr. Estrada makes you sign a contract stating that the patient is responsible to pay for all the allergy medication they order for you whether you receive the shots or not. For me, this is two vials which equal 24 shots, or one years worth of shots. So, if you move, lose your job, don't feel like the medication is working, YOU are responsible for paying for the unused medications out of your own pocket. For six years, Dr Cohen never found it necessary to have patients sign this contract, but this office started requiring this about two years ago. I asked if I could get my prescription for my allergy shots moved to an allergist closer to my home since this office is quite a distance for me to travel. They told me the shots I was receiving are the Dr's own formula. I was told that if I wanted another Dr. to give me the same shots, I would have to order them through his office and he would send the medication to the other Dr. Even though I paid for the tests to formulate my allergy shots, this office will not share that information, if you want to change Doctors. so this will require you to go through testing again and start the process over unless you want to order the medication through this office forever so they can make money off of it. I received a call two weeks ago from this office saying they needed to update my insurance information. I told them my nephew just had a stroke and I was with him in the hospital. I said I would get back to them. I went in and got an allergy shot yesterday 9-26-17, and stopped by the front desk to see what they needed. I gave them my insurance card and filled out some forms. Today I spoke with Christine, the office manager, she told me since they received my insurance information so late, I may have to pay all the bills in their entirety that did not get submitted in time. Christine said they had submitted invoices to Cigna (my previous insurance company) and they did not pay. She said the office sent me a statement in July and August, which I did not receive. I was out of the country the month of August and don t know why I didn't get them, I but did get a shot on July 27 (why didn't they ask me then for my info?). I did however acknowledge the phone call SHE made to me two weeks ago while I was having a family emergency. She says it is ENTIRELY my responsibility to make sure my insurance information with the office is up to date and the office has no responsibility. I told her I believe I did update my information. She says her office always inputs information into their system. So I must be at fault since HER office NEVER makes a mistake. Shouldn't SHE train her staff to update insurance at the START of a New Year? My other Doctors ALL do this. Does the patient through the course of the year (it's now the end of September) need to periodically check with the office to ensure they have the proper insurance information? I asked why the front desk didn't just let the person who administers my shot, ask me to stop by the front desk (literally 15 feet away). She says billing is not on site and that is not really their responsibility.?? Christine also said Cigna sent me a notice that they weren't paying these bills. Why would any insurance company send any kind of notice to someone who is not their policy holder? Basically Christine told me the patient bears all of the responsibility for their own insurance since HER office is NEVER at fault. If someone in the office does something wrong ( such as not inputting info), the patient will have to make it right. Remember, I have been coming here for eight years, but felt trapped through this office's tactics to remain here. I am rethinking this decision, but I still have to pay for the remainder of my shots even if I don't receive them. Remember, if you start coming here, they make it difficult and costly to change Doctors, and they will not give you the formula for your shots (even though you paid for it) All of the people who administer the shots are great (reason for two stars). Think twice before you come to this office, because this is how they treat someone who has been their patient for eight years. How will they treat you? Do you want to sign a contract to receive medication you may not use or want or can't use because you move? read more

Let's start with the fact the Dr Cohen is not longer there and yet they continue to use his name. His replacement, a complete moron half the time can't give a straight answer or have any solutions for alternative treatments. The front staff is rude and entitled and even tho they work very short hours and spent most of their time closed or at lunch they behave as if it's an inconvenience having to deal with patiences. As if this was not bad enough,they allowed people to bring dogs into the office, around patients with allergies.This is a tremendous risk to the health of others and great liability if a patient was to have a reaction as a result of their incompetence. By the way, try not having one, a reaction, that is. The " doctor" is probably not on location and the staff will give you Benadryl and leave you alone in a room behind doors. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Cohen and have a great deal of respect for him. He did wonders to help me with my allergic situation. I understand the practice has recently changed ownership. Last week I was in to see Dr. Estrada, I could not be more disappointed. My experience from checking in at the front desk until I checked out was not positive. Since my appointment I have had nothing but issues battling over prescription renewal. I fail to understand why I get nothing grief in trying to refill simple prescriptions. My pharmacy tells me the doctor feels things need to be done differently. I suppose nothing last forever and I may be better served finding a different allergist. What a shame. read more

I saw Dr Estrada and APN Rowe at this office and it was the worst experience I've had with a trying to understand my allergies yet. Rowe was ok but didn't offer much advice beyond his own experiences with corn. When I told him I was afraid to eat and asked him what was safe for me to eat he said "I don't know...water" and laughed. He told me I should get the shots and that it would help but I didn't quite understand how it would help my FOOD allergies. I told him I wasn't experiencing any problems with outdoor allergies and he didn't really say much after that. He referred me to see the actual Dr. for my next appointment...what a complete waste of time. Dr. Estrada looked confused when he came in and I started telling him my symptoms and when things started happening. He mentioned shots again and I AGAIN said no. I asked him to test me for the foods I'm currently eating to see if they were safe...he was like "uh...ok". When I told him my mouth burns a lot after eating he said that's not an allergy lol????? WHAT! um ok...So then when I gave JILL the list of foods I wanted to be tested for she was CLEARLY bothered and asked me "you want to be tested for ALL of these!" to which I responded yes. Then I offered to help her look up the codes and she was a little nicer. She gave me my paper and I left. I had 13 vials of blood drawn...no problem. I called two weeks later for my results only HALF the results. I was confused and a little angry. JILL said she would call me when the rest came back. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. So I called about a week or more later and I'll admit I was agitated all of the results still weren't in and I knew they weren't going to be because I the results they emailed me it clearly said on the bottom some results weren't coded right and were cancelled. BUT SHE GOT MAD AT ME lol and gave me MEDICAL advice (told me to avoid those foods) I was fighting back tears because I now had 18 food allergies and was scared/didn't know what I could eat. She asked me if I wanted to make an appointment to see the Dr. and then I said that I didn't even know if I wanted to go back and she said "great we'll fax your records wherever you want to go" and HUNG UP ON ME. the dr never called me back and when I called and asked to speak to him the OFFICE MANAGER spoke to me and told me she didn't feel that what I said happened and that the dr wasn't going to talk to me! DISGUSTING THIS OFFICE IS HORRIBLE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS I FELT LIKE THEY PUSHED SHOTS AND WHEN I REFUSED THEY DIDN'T WANT TO BOTHER WITH ME.
