He was honest, prompt, and fair in his pricing--very transparent in the exact nature of the work he was doing and even showed me the old rotors after swapping them out for new ones. Hopefully I don't have any further 'issues' with my car, but if I do, I know exactly who my first call will be!

At 55; still love to do things myself, but I can't do everything and I hate taking my cars to dealerships. Next best thing is to find a good independent mechanic. Luckily I happened to find CLTMobile online! I actually invested in a mobile brake repair business about 3 years ago but have often thought how great a full service mobile mechanic would be! I messed up an electrical connection on one of my cars by accident doing some service on it. I could not fix it. My wife needed that car for work within a few days and my time was limited during that time to get it somewhere to get fixed. I called CLTmobile and got an appt booked right away. Mechanic came on time; he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He did a terrific job at a very affordable price! I will definitely be using them for all my automotive needs going forward that I can't fix myself. Took my car here for problem with fans not working. Car would start getting hotter if stuck in…read moretraffic or at light but not when traveling. We had checked all coolant fan fuses and hooked hot wire to fans to rule out it being a fan issue. After checking it out they said 1 of the fans had a short and it needed replaced and so we had them do it since we thought they knew this was the problem. Also paid for AC special to get it working since it quit working due to the fan issue. When I left the ac wasn't cooling. Mechanic said vehicles with rear ac's are difficult and it wouldn't cool correctly if he had put slightly too much or too little freon and to call him if we noticed it not cooling correctly. Well drove it home and the next day when I went to run errands, ac wasn't cooling. Car was also running warmer than it had prior to fans not working. Took it back. They checked it and put freon and dye in it without telling me they were going to charge me for looking at it again. I thought they were making right repairs from the day before. But no I was charged. AC was cool on the way home but after 15 minute drive home when I pulled into my garage I heard loud gurgling under my hood of water flooding over into the overflow tank. Had my husband come check and car was steaming under the front left of hood around hoses. It didn't do this prior to this mechanic working on my car. My husband took the car out for test drive and says the fans are not working unless the AC is turned on. He turned AC off to check it out and fans quit working and temp starts getting hot quickly. This wasn't a problem before taking my car to this shop and they say they will look at it but they have to charge for their work. They already have $400 of my money and car is worse and they aren't attempting to make any of it right. I strongly do not recommend this auto repair shop.
