The salad was crisp with a nice vinegar dressing w/ mustard notes. The 2 main courses pictured were a welcome treat after a long day of travel. The traditional spatzel with meat and gravy was flavorful and had a great texture. It was nice to have great service and wonderful food where the locals go. Make sure to get the beer flight. They will match your beers to the courses and it will be unique and will not disappoint! Prost!

I have never been treated so rude in my life. I walked here from my hotel because I read great…read morethings about this establishment and was looking very forward to eating here . The waiter asks me if it's just for one and I said yes, then he replies the kitchen is closed. Two groups of two walk in after me and he welcomes them for food with open arms. I just came from work and was nicely dressed and kind. I was completely puzzled and hurt at this entire exchange. This was one place that didn't feel welcoming to a foreigner. I will go out of my way to not recommend this place as I never want anyone to be treated this way and made to feel the way I felt

The Schwäbischer Teller which had grilled pork cutlets, Spätzle and Maultaschen was to die for. So lecker! The hard-working proprietor was very friendly and helpful. We'd like to try another place while we're here but I don't see how we can! I can't recommend this out of the way place high enough.
