The outside of the building looks plain and has a warehouse feeling about it and the inside is industrial looking. BUT, inside is decorated well with pictures of art (see my attached photos). There is one large room where the fitness event that I attended was located. There might be smaller rooms inside too but I didn't look out for them. Bathrooms are located inside as well. The fitness event I attended was awesome. I know the owner of the Beauty Boost so I got a free ticket to attend since I'm an unofficial ambassador. There were 3 classes that lasted for 20 mins each. I enjoyed the high intensity cardio/strength class and the yoga class. I didn't stay for the last class since I wanted to head to church. At the event, there were vendors stationed in the lobby. They handed out information about their business. I loved trying samples of protein drinks and little protein bites. She provided everything as discussed, was there on time to set up, served our approximately 200 guests buffet style, cleaned up and packaged the few leftovers, all at the very reasonable price originally stated. I wanted to visit this venue for the longest time. I finally stopped in for the Cleveland Vintage Market hosted by the Cleveland Vibes. Ambiance: The space is huge - over 11,000 square feet of open space. There are remnants of Tenk Machine & Tool outside - a little mural. There is one ballrooms and separate rooms to the back of the event space. The vibes are industrial sophistication - gorgeous exposed brick walls, wood details, and abundant natural lighting. I can absolutely envision a wedding here with juxtaposition of delicate and rough. I love exposed brick walls, so for me the venue was just perfect. It was also just right for the Cleveland Vintage Market. It fit in plenty of vendors and attendees with still sufficient room to roam. Marigold Catering: There were sandwiches and cinnamon rolls for sale during the event offered by Marigold. I did not try either. I really enjoyed Marigold catered food at other events I've historically attended at other venues around the city. Service: I interacted with the security staff at this venue. They were so friendly and great at directing the foot traffic. Parking: Parking is available at a surface lot next door owned by Marigold. If you're up for a show walk, Nautica Pavilion is also a good parking choice. Ubering to this destination is pretty easy, GPS shows an accurate location. I look forward to visiting Tenk West Bank again! I hope that the venue hosts other events soon so that I can come back!

I'm usually in the back for the Broadway Buzz; the theater where it is held is absolutely beautiful. It's built in a blackbox style, but it holds plenty of (comfortable) seats. Only downside is the restrooms in the building are designed rather poorly, so it can be difficult to pass someone if they are headed out and you are headed to a stall.

She listened to what we wanted, was easy to get a hold of, had great ideas. She and her team were extremely helpful, and with her guidance our wedding ended up being gorgeous. Hilary made wedding planning easy. The venue is unique, and cool and so many of our guests complimented us on our choice and said that they had never been to a wedding like ours. We had an amazing time and are so happy with our decision. We had 110 guests and that was the perfect amount of space- although smART Space is larger and could have accommodated more people we did not feel as if the space was too big. 110 was the perfect size for our ceremony and cocktail hour in HEDGE.

The mayor of Cleveland often hosts breakfast and lunch meetings or gatherings at the Union Club. Private events and weddings are held here and there is even a hotel inside for visitors to stay. I've been attending events at the Union Club for over a year now and a half now (since Sept. 2024). I attend these events through the CCWA speaker events. Many great speakers have come to the Union Club to speak on global topics. The dinner served at the private speaker events that I've attended is always delicious. Normally there is a starting dish such as a salad, then a main course such as salmon, beef, or steak along with a side, and the meal ends with a dessert. The building is old but it has been well kept over the years. It does get cold inside sometimes so perhaps the old nature of the building is an issue with heating but I am not 100% sure. The chandeliers in some of the rooms are beautiful with intricate details. The great reading room is quiet and serene with plenty of comfortable seating. Think hardwood floors, antique furniture, vintage elevators, and gorgeous wood details. I visited multiple events in this space - dinners, fashion show, concert, reading event, sauna hangout, and tea tasting. Every single experience introduced me to a different setup in this space. The space is a blank slate that can be reinvented for any occasion. It's always a lovely event space. Co-Working: The Brownhoist offers various co-working memberships from $10 to $130. Prices and details are available on their website. I haven't personally co-worked in this space but can vividly see how it could be used for co-working. There are multiple floors and nooks for your co-working needs. Desk space, atrium, commons, vaults, and other spaces. It's versatile for seclusion or socialization. Shop: There are multiple versatile vendors in this space - law offices, yoga studio, photo studio, tea vendor, and more. Based on my attendance of many events I understand that it's a very close knit community. I loved meeting tenants in this space and socializing. They all have been very friendly. I also had brief interactions with the owner, and he was very welcoming! The only downside is that there is no central directory to see who the tenants are and to see all their events in one space. I always discover new businesses in this space, and wish I knew about them. Events: The Brownhoist hosts the most interesting events. You check their social media (especially Instagram) if you are considering attending or renting. Some of the recent exciting events I have seen were art shows and dance classes. I consistently find something unique in this space. Parking: Parking is available onsite. There are also street parking options. Check their Instagram for parking maps. The Brownhoist is suitable for a particular audience. Creatives that are interested in a historic feel, not very modern amenities, and spaciousness. The area is not the best in CLE but I never once felt unsafe. If you're looking for a more modern building and experience, it might not be the perfect fit. If you love history and historic/versatile buildings, this is it! Personally I can't wait to find more unique experiences at the Brownhoist!
