Good bed. However, we were unlucky to face a street with early morning trash trucks and (even worse) road work starting at 6 am! On the day of checking out, we just needed a little bit more time. We asked for a 12 pm check out but they simply would not accommodate any request. it's not busy at all. Oh well.

I loved how the ballroom is set down below the lobby space, the tile details on the floors, and the beautiful molding around the stage. The cozy vintage-style booths around the floor area are also so fun! While I was not here for a fancy event, I could really see it also working great for a wedding, banquet, or party as well. Bonus- I met Megan the event coordinator for the ballroom and she was so sweet and welcoming. Hope to be able to attend something at this space again!

She presents herself along Euclid and East streets the best, in my opinion - from the outside. Once inside - the main Grand Foyer is not to be missed! Even the side street and back door entrances, and the lower level lobby and vestibule areas beg to be inspected and enjoyed visually and audibly, as the sounds echo off the beautiful marbled floorings. The music hall is a jewel that showcases all of what is right with the art deco movement - and acoustically allows for the magnificent capture of sounds from the silence of a pin drop to the booming bass drums in a Sousa March - or monolithic Wagner Orchestral sounds - they are all to be enjoyed with every style and volume in between. I have enjoyed each visit and treasured each one - looking forward to the next one! This building is on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. It is an event space, holds some…read morecampus departments, and it also has a small food court in the main lobby (1st floor). I may have been inside this beautiful building before, last year (2018) when a church held a service here. I did visit again yesterday (5 March 2019) for a free Immigration Law lecture. I had to cancel a free Yelp Ice-Cream event to come to this Immigration discussion (yes, my career means a-lot to me)...haha. ENVIRONMENT -- This is an environmentally friendly building. It has been awarded with a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold status from the U.S. Green Building Council. STUDYING -- This building is actually opened 24 hours so students can stay up all night studying in here. You do need a Case student ID to enter between the hours of 11pm - 7am. There are tables and chairs on the main floor which is also where the food court is. This may not be a good area to get work done because it tends to get noisy but I'm sure after 9pm, it quiets down since the food court will be closed by then. There is free wifi as well so just connect to the network. I believe the network name is "Case" or something to that effect. Overall, the architecture of this building (both outside and inside) is awesome. Stop by and visit if you are in the area. Staff was very friendly and let us check in early. Room was clean and spacious as well (we had the king sized bed). Two small things, for one there is only one mirror in the room above the bathroom sink. Would have liked more mirror space. Also the only parking option is a valet priced at $30 a night with tax. You do have in and out privileges, but I would have liked to have a self-parking option. Overall though great time here.
