I had no idea this Vicky's location existed. Closer to home than the Davie location. Very clean and modern. Although a busy location, service was quick and attentive. We usually get the cafe con leche with sugar, and you can also get it iced if you don't want hot coffee. Then we got the steak sandwich which is a cuban lunch special. So yummy. Sandwiches for me are all about the bread. I also ordered a tostada which is like buttered bread and then I get a ham croquette and mash it up and make it into its own sandwich. If I'm feeling crazy, I'll order pastries too. They're pan de bono, guava and cheese, and fried beef empanadas are our staples there. read more

There was good hip hop music playing in the background which I love. The restaurant had some tables that needed to be cleaned but this place was pretty clean. This is not my normal Vicky location that I frequent for croquetas/empanadas/colada. However I came here for a catering order, got Cuban food for my sister's birthday party. Food was incredible, the staff was kind and my order was ready as promised. They are very kind and the parking lot is busy with lots of good businesses in this plaza. I didn't know that Vicky Bakery made delicious cuban sandwiches but thanks to the national Cuban Sandwich day event, I stopped in to give it a try. I ordered at the counter and gave them my name for the order. Within a few minutes my name was called and my togo sandwich order was bagged and ready to go. There is a few tables for dining in but it seemed that primarily people come in for a Cuban coffee, a pastry or a cake order for a special event. They make everything fresh and it all looked wonderful. Next time I will try the empanadas. I got home and opened up the sandwich. It was still warm but it wasn't pressed which to me is the traditional way to serve a true Cuban sandwich. The flavor was great and I enjoyed the ration of meats and cheese to the mustard spread and size of the bread roll. The service was very nice and I will definitely make a return visit. read more

i got my food to go so i forgot to take a pic until i was halfway through my meal so this is the best i've got i came at 6pm so some of the savory pastries were gone. luckily the ones i wanted were still available. i noticed that there were no prices listed for the sweets so i was reluctant to buy any. there's tons is seatings and it's a very nice and clean space. my food was ready super quickly. i'm not sure if the pastries were warm because the employee didn't reheat them and i popped them in the oven quickly when i got home just as a precaution because i love my food crunchy and warm. sandwich: a little too salty, i would've liked if there was a vegetable to balance it out but regardless, this was delicious. i got a size small because i knew i wanted other pastries too. empanada: love the flakiness but it wasn't the exact flavor i was imagining? still pretty good but maybe not as tasty as i wanted. croquetta: i loved the texture of this! i found the flavor to be a bit underwhelming again but im curious what their other flavors taste like. i would be interested in returning to try their other menu options! read more

They are very rude. I was standing in the pickup line for over 10 minutes while everyone looked over me and never addressed me.

It's nice to have a Vicky's closer to home. This location is lovely on the inside, but the selection is definitely smaller than the other locations I've been to. I'm hoping that with time, the menu expands (or I will visit a different location). They have the typical pastelito selection and cafe con leche, but there were less baked goods and fewer options for breakfast unless they've eliminated options as a whole company. I got the Vicky classic breakfast. It was really tasty as usual, but I ordered without ham, and it came with ham, no big deal. The portions were also really small. It seemed like the kitchen and front of house staff had some kinks to work out still. They must have had some issues because when ordering, the cashier wrote everything out on a notepad after payment. It could be why orders were being messed up. On the plus side, the Cafe con leche was perfect, just the way I like it. There was seating inside, but definitely not enough for the crowd that was there. Ever since I heard Vicky Bakery was opening less than five minutes away from where I live, I've been so excited! Today is DAY ONE and I had to go and get a café con leche for a midday pick-me-up and my favorites - tequeño de queso and croqueta de queso. (Yes, I LOVE cheese!) This is a very nice location - roomy and with some nice tables to sit at. No outdoor seating, but no need. Especially in these hot summer months! Completely inefficient set up. I placed an online order for pickup. Said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I go there, long line for orders here only, no line for pickup. Wait in the line while I'm still waiting on the order. Why am I still waiting for my order when at least 10 other customers have walked in, ordered and received items. Poor girl at the front register running around scrambling to figure out whose orders are who's. Could not be more excited to have our very own Vicky's Bakery here in P-town!!!! I heard they were open and made my way over for a hostess gift for a dinner I'm attending this evening. Javier and the gang were so welcoming and happy to show me all the fresh baked goodies. I left with a Flan and box of Pastelitos. They offered me a cafe latte, and I of course was happy to accept. I placed an order the evening before to be picked up on Saturday at 9 am. I went around 10 am, it wasn't ready. I presented my receipt and they said they had to put it together. I saw a lot of confusion, they were very disorganized. Even saw food coming out of the kitchen that wasn't ordered or already served. Finally a lady took charge, stopped everything and everyone. This was my first time at this location and it will definitely be my last. There were 2 people up front serving customers. One did not speak any English at all and had a hard time understanding English. The other was a total nightmare. Refused to help. Literally skipped over me and served another customer. Another person came in for service and the lady was rude to her as well. She even decided to forget everyone and go in the back and sit down. The lady spoke Spanish and was able to help me communicate with the other lady and help me out. The manager came out and we told him about the other woman. He blew it off and acted like it was a normal thing. Very rude and completely disrespectful. Instead of coming back out, she hung out in the back. Food is very good here but this location needs to look at their employees and how they treat customers. Very sad. read more

Lined up in glass cases, you peer at the delicious choices of flan, pastries, sweet desserts and more. There are two cuban coffee machines for that caffeine hit. Made on the spot while you wait. Everything except the rum cake is made on the premises from scratch. The rum cake uses Havana Rum and the trademark secrets doesn't allow the store to make it from scratch. Don't let the appearance of the buildings deter you. The strip stores are going through a renovation. There is free parking. The store is well lit with ample seating. Everyone was friendly. Out of all the Vicky bakeries I frequent this location is absolute dog shi**. I waited close to 6 min with only 1 person in front of me being helped & 4 other staff members behind the counter. Paid $8+ for 2 over baked half-sized guava pastries with barely any filling in them and a Carmel cafe con leche where they not only forgot to put the Carmel but I'd say 50% of the espresso they usually would pour was missing. Very inconsistent as this was my 3rd time visiting and I said to myself the last time it would be my last but decided to give them another shot as the initial visit was good. If I'm paying $2 a pastry they should be decent sized & filled with filling like all the other Vicky bakeries I've visited, same goes for the $5 coffee, I'd like Cuban coffee w/ steamed milk not a warm light beige colored milk beverage. Do yourself a favor drive the extra few miles south or wait till you're closer to the most southern location from here. Will not be coming back again. read more

I grow up eating at this bakery at the original one in Hieleah and use to love it. However their Plantation location is bringing this place down hill fast. I live out of state and my daughter went for visit family and picked up $60 worth of food What a waste of money. The pastries were so over cook or just not made like the original recipe they taste Awful the meat stuff potato ball are so post to be the size of a baseball and full of flavor. The ones we got look like munchkins donuts the lacked the meat flavor and were over cook. Was super disappointed. the only good thing was the Cuban bread and the croquettes. This is pretty sad the taste definitely didn't take me back to my childhood. When I call to speak to the manager Javier is pretty much didn't care.
