They were great at the beginning, flagging everything, providing estimates, and submitting for permits in a timely manner. However, once permits were received, it was very difficult to get them out to the property to complete the job. They repeatedly told me that they would come out a certain day and then wouldn't show up, left the site a mess and held up the build since they took 5+ months to get the water hooked up. After months of fighting with them to complete a simple project, I decided to have another contractor do the site cleanup and test pit fill from the septic and was told by Shay that would be fine, she would just bill me for what has been completed and that it wasn't worth her time to travel to Sisters from La Pine anyway. All in all, I would not recommend this company moving forward and it was a very frustrating experience.

Cole and Brett were in continuous contact and worked with me on minor tweaks that were needed as they discovered things during the project. They did an excavation and placement of a rock wall at the back of our property to allow for more building space. It looks amazing and I can't wait until spring when I can plant things in the built in ledge they recommended. I HIGHLY recommend them for any project that is in your future. We went through three contractors when we found Matt. The first one bowed out because the project was "too much," the second ghosted us after three weeks, and the third only did a portion of what he included in his bid. Matt swooped in and rescued us. He was straight-forward and on top of everything from day one. He went above and beyond to help us navigate what we needed to do with the county and graciously made himself available for our dumbest of questions. He even put us in touch with the other service professionals that we needed to finish the project (and they were good too!). The job he did was prompt and quality. He's a trustworthy guy that you can tell takes pride in his work- and he had affordable rates! 10/10 Highly recommend!

I was planning on looking around for someone to do this work. Before I started to look for a company, I received a nice "welcome to the neighborhood" post card from Cascade Land Development. I reached out to them and they quickly looked at the work that needed to be done. Their quote was about what I expected. As a bonus they also guided me about filling out a Fuel Reduction plan with a state agency. This allowed me to recover $500 back from the cost of the clean up. They did a great job on the lot and it looks exactly the way we wanted it. This is despite them running into a yellow jackets next on the property. "We got pretty tore up". I highly recommend Cascade Land Development and look forward to working with them again.

This landscape company was hired to aerate, Thatch and edge, our yard as well as pick up…read morePineneedles that were already raked into piles for them, pull cheat grass and remove an existing hop vine. They came over and managed to aerate and Thatch, but never edge the yard. Had to call them multiple times to get them to come back and edge the yard. They also weed wacked the cheat grass instead of pulling it and left the remains all over the landscaping. When I asked them to come back and finish the job they said they thought the cheat grass was from the neighbors and they ran out of time to complete the hop vine removal. Terrible company who is trying to do the least amount of effort with zero quality or attention to detail. They also gave us a bill $100 higher than the estimate because it took them more time than they thought to pick up piles of pine needles after we spent 30 minutes going over all the tasks we wanted the night they gave us the estimate. They're lazy and not quality oriented.
