Ok so let me preface this by saying that I purchased and redeemed a Groupon in the fall of 2012,…read morebut the experience still sticks with me. This was also my first Brazilian so that probably had an impact as well. The suite was down in a basement and it didn't feel clean to me (I've actually referred to it as my back alley Brazilian before). She also didn't wear gloves during the procedure and was using hard wax which hurt like hell. I've had my legs waxed and have always done my eyebrows. The process also took a long time waiting for the wax to harden. And at one point I told her I thought I was going to have to stop, but she gave me a minute then continued. After it was all done the results were as expected, hairless. But it scared me away from the process for several months. After a while I decided to give another place a try before leaving for a Mexican beach vacation. I tried Groupon again and ended up at Grace Designs & Esthetics in Overland Park. I was in and out in 10 minutes with minimal pain and she didn't use the hard wax so I've continued to visit Grace now that I know that the experience isn't always excruciating.

She's candid yet still makes you feel comfortable and she's been waxing since the 1980's! She is very experienced and knows her stuff. I was in and out within 20 minutes or so and it really was a lot less painful than other Brazilians I had gotten at other places. I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting a Brazilian! The space is small because of the remodeling going on and her suite was tough to find at first but I will definitely be going back. Well worth the trip. There is also a discount if you get another Brazilian when you come back within a month.
