None of which followed through with anything. Never returned calls and when they did call to set up appointments, they either didn't show, or showed up promising an estimate, never to be seen or heard from again. Luke, the owner, went above and beyond my expectations. My first call, I was called back almost instantly. He came when he said he would ON TIME!! He set dates , which unfortunately had to be changed 3 times. (Rain) But.... He texted, emailed or called. There was total communication from the very beginning. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to deal with someone who has work ethics. Who actually cares about the client. Before and after pictures will follow soon. Waiting for things to settle and grow. Thank you Luke!!

Most recently they installed some new flat bluestones over top of a previously pea gravel patio which they installed a few years ago. Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Now we have a perfect space and can't wait to enjoy it over the summer! Highly, highly recommend!

We live in the city (Philadelphia) so our backyard space is small, but she has transformed it into a tiny paradise. I HIGHLY recommend Digs to anyone in Philadelphia looking for a new deck, roof deck, or landscaping. PROS: * I love the design aesthetic of Anna and her team. It's got just the right amount of "hipness" while still being comfortable and practical. She also makes great use of space, which is key in the city! * Working with Anna at Digs has been a really wonderful experience. She is very professional, always on time, personable and easy to work with. So much better that what my typical experience has been! * She has great relationships with really talented carpenters, electricians, plumbers & others. She managed the entire process for me and I know that her good relationships with all of these groups helped us get the very best work. * She has even been following up to make sure everything is perfect. CONS: * Honestly, there wasn't anything that I would really classify as a con. The project did take a little longer than we were hoping for, but most of this was out of her control (weather, availability, etc). Again, we are just thrilled that we had the opportunity to work with Digs and we'll be using them in the future. I recommend them without hesitation!
