Immediately after we took our cat Shadow, to this vet for an overall exam to make sure he was healthy, and safe. We have had shadow for majority of my life, and was a childhood cat. Dr McNeil, proceeded to do the exam. He checked his mouth, but not once did he attempt to remove my cat out of the crate. For those who dont know, bobcat fever takes about 2 weeks to show any signs. In which, he wouldve already been showing signs. I paid about $90+ in these vet fees, just for 2 days later. My best friend to pass away on my living room floor, it is the most traumatizing thing a person can go through. I will forever HIGHLY recommend cushing white vet. We have taken all of our other cats there, and havent had one issue. Please do not go here.

Main points: - cost effective (I'm a grad student so trust…read moreme on this one) - empathetic and compassionate - trustworthy - easy to fit into their schedule I adopted my first dog five days ago and the day after adopting her, she started having some issues urinating. They did everything they possibly could and treated both her and I with the most compassion and empathy. Every interaction I had with all the doctors, technicians, and receptionists over a period of four days was excellent. Turns out, it was an issue with nerves in her bladder, possibly from issues with her spay which was done at a different vet. We ended up having to euthanize her, but the doctor explained everything to me in depth and gave me options on what we could do to be most cost effective, as I'm on a pretty tight budget as a grad student. The vet and a technician stayed with me in the room and talked me and her through the whole process. I just moved to Stillwater so no family could be here with me during this difficult experience, but during that moment I felt like they were family. They treated my dog like she was their own too. They made an extremely hard moment feel a little bit calmer for both of us and for that I am so grateful and I know Pepper is too.

Every time I go to this clinic, they try to upsell me hundreds of dollars of additional services…read more In the past, I was allowed to stay focused on the actual thing that's wrong with my pet. But now it's not even an option. Want a simple Depo shot for seasonal allergies? You will have to agree to pay hundreds for extra services you absolutely don't need, or they won't help your pet! Latest example: I had previously taken my cat in for a simple Depo shot, as she gets seasonally itchy. I was told I could stop by and get the shot without paying for a full diagnostic again. (This has been an ongoing issue for several years. The Depo shot gets her through the rough patch and she's back to normal by fall). It had been over a year since the seasonal itching was a problem, so I called the receptionist first to make sure I wouldn't have to pay for additional services, since I know that happens a lot at this clinic. Receptionist checked with the doctor and assured me I could just do the Depo shot. No extra services. So on my day off, I drove over and sit outside, because they haven't allowed people to go inside the building since 2020. It's now July 2023. The tech or whomever comes outside and tells me I'll need to pay for a full diagnostic and also a rabies vax. I'm immediately annoyed because this clinic is forever pulling shenanigans like this. I tell the woman my cat has already had rabies vax and I was told we could do a simple Depo shot today, since it's a known, ongoing issue. She says she doesn't know who told me that, but I'll need the extra services. I explain that the receptionist told me that after talking with the doctor. She doesn't go to check with the receptionist. And I can't get corroboration from the receptionist or doctor because I'm now allowed inside the building! The woman insists that I'll need all of the extra services or they can't help my cat. This clinic will refuse to help your pet, unless you agree to pay hundreds of dollars for EXTRA things your pet doesn't need. I'm calling another vet today, but I'm positive that the greedy business practices of this clinic will cause pets out there to suffer as most people simply can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars for services they don't need.

We took my English bulldog here to get his nails cut, and the first vet tech was going so fast and clipped him so short he was screaming and bleeding. We tell her that he's bleeding and she decides to cauterize it. I figure maybe it was just a mistake and it was only one. And then I turn around in the backseat and all four paws were bleeding. She had cut too short on all of them! So we take him back up there to see what they can do and the first woman came back out and tried cauterizing it again and by the this point my poor dog is screaming so I say to her "Can you please get the vet Dr. McNeil or a manager to do this?' To which she runs back and another woman comes out. She doesn't introduce herself or even take accountability for what her coworker has done to my dog. All she says is put him on the table and tries to stop the bleeding again. She refunded me the $5 but it was NEVER about the money, my poor dog is traumatized and I will be calling the owner of this establishment to report them. No apologies to me as the owner or anything. I will never come back to this place and I hope no one else will either if you care for your pets. I'm pretty sure it was because I'm black and they won't ever have to worry about me coming back there again.

Our experience with Dr. Gee was deeply concerning. Our dog, Jocelynn, has osteosarcoma and had been…read morereceiving palliative care with regular monitoring. Her recent chest X-rays showed no evidence of lung metastasis, and we consulted Dr. Gee about amputation because our regular surgeon was unavailable. During that consultation, my husband was told that Dr. Gee believed the cancer had spread to Jocelynn's liver and stomach and that euthanasia was the appropriate course. We were not comfortable making such an irreversible decision based on that assessment alone, so we sought another opinion from the veterinarian who had been managing her palliative care. After reviewing Jocelynn's imaging and history, he did not believe there was evidence of liver metastasis and felt the abdominal findings were more consistent with gastritis. We proceeded with the amputation. Jocelynn is now comfortable, active, eating, and enjoying her life again. We fully understand that osteosarcoma is an aggressive cancer and that her prognosis remains serious. My concern is that a recommendation to end an animal's life should involve careful reasoning, acknowledgment of uncertainty, and consideration of reasonable alternatives. Had we followed the initial recommendation without seeking another opinion, Jocelynn would not be here today. I strongly encourage pet owners facing an irreversible recommendation to ask questions and, when appropriate, seek a second opinion.
