Unbelievable care! Dr. Blake is extremely thorough and it's obvious he cares. Entire staff is friendly and helpful!

They did it again! Now my dog will suffer and be basically blind for weeks, while they reorder the eye ointment that I called and ordered many weeks ago along with flea and tick for our 2 dogs. They called said it was all in so wife drives 45 minutes to get there. Once home, NOT RIGHT! PRESCRIPTION WRONG! NO FLEA TICK FOR ONE DOG! THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES IN A ROW NOW! I can understand maybe once, but 3 times back to back, after receiving a call from them that EVERYTHING WAS IN! Called again today after the third trip. We will order it and call you when it's in????? GREAT, a 4th trip there! My advice! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! read more

I would like to thank Dr Arrington and Preston for helping Wedge cross the rainbow bridge 8/15/25. Wedge had stomach cancer for well over a year and it was time to let him go. Wedge would never let us know if he was hurting, but we could tell it was becoming difficult for him to move from place to place. We made arrangements to have this performed at our home on 8/15/25 at 1pm over a week ago. However, I was elected to be on Jury Duty and the case lasted into Friday. I was heartbroken that I was not going to be present when Wedge passed. But there was a long lunch break from the trial on Friday. I called the clinic on my way home to see Wedge one last time, to see if at all possible to have the vet come early, so I could be present; but I would understand if that was not possible. Dr Arrington rearranged his schedule to accommodate my request. I cannot thank him and the team enough, to allow me to be present as my fur baby left this life. I will forever be grateful. We have never had anything but great service for our fur babies from ALL the staff at Crosstown Veterinary Services in Guthrie. Grateful for your great service and caring personnel. We rescued a dog from the Guthrie Animal Shelter and came to Crosstown Veterinary Services with a voucher for her heartworm testing. The staff was very efficient and friendly. I was early for my dog's appointment because we drove up from Norman and they were very accommodating, getting us right in. The vet was very friendly and she and the tech treated our dog very well. I estimate that the charges for Crosstown's services are around half what they are locally in Norman and the savings more than made up for the gas used. We will use our local vet for emergency situations but we are coming back to Guthrie to shots and yearly examinations. read more

I just wanted to write a positive review for this place, because they were able to get me in the same day I called! My rescue poodle injured herself somehow, and popped some of her joints out of place and Dr. Black was able to explain to me what we would need to do now, and what we could do for her in the future. She was very kind, and was just straightforward. She also didn't try and sell us anything. She listened to us, and took good care of our sweet old lady poodle. We were prescribed pain meds and glucosamine. The staff were all so friendly, and again thank you so much Dr. Black for seeing us so last minute! read more

Heard about this place from a friend after my vet retired, was excited to try a new vet. Office staff not very friendly at all. Group of 4 or 5 employees just hanging around the office desk makes it very awkward when you walk in & you're trying to check in. No masks. I asked Bri about this, if this was normal for them. She very proudly said "yep!" Will not be back. Very disappointing. read more

I redownloaded yelp just to leave this place a review. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the veterinarians themselves, are so kind and helpful. They take the time to listen to your concerns and explain everything. They are so good with the animals and really treat them like their own. I have a pittie who is the sweetest boy you will ever meet, but I always worry about discrimination and how hes treated behind closed doors. Let's just say, he loves these people. If your animal is your world like my boy is to me, I can tell you they're in great hands with the staff at Crosstown vet. read more

My entire family uses Cross Town and has for the past 17 years. Doc Cory is the best and the other doctors and staff are just as great and very compassionate. They take their time to listen to your concerns and find the best answers for your wants and needs. Staff are very polite, courteous and caring. Vets are outstanding and knowledgable. On site lab providing results in @ 20 minutes instead of days like other clinics and 1/2 the cost. When our older cat was quite ill with pancreatitis, a disease that's hard to recover from, Dr. Annette and staff went above and beyond in the treatments for our cat. She even met me on Sunday to give fluids and treatments as well. In the end we lost our little friend and it was the 1st time I ever had a vet cry with me over the loss of a pet. Dr. Annette is a very compassionate vet and person. They also provide the animal care at low cost to the City of Guthrie Animal Shelter. They are just super and amazing! read more

Dr Corey has been the vet for our little Scotties for quite a few years now. I took our little Maggie after another local vet had misdiagnosed her and had even lanced her foot unnecessarily. Corey immediately checked for and diagnosed her with demodectic mange and got us started on medication to help control it. She was on preventative treatment for awhile and eventually we were able to cut back and then even discontinue the treatment! I will continue to always have Scotties and most certainly will ALWAYS continue to use Crosstown for our fur babies. They deserve the best and we found it at Crosstown! read more

We've taken all our pets to this office for 6 years. Dr. Cory Bertrand is SUCH an nice man, has such a way with animals, and is as knowledgeable as they come. He won't nickel and dime you with expensive tests--if he says you need it, it's because you do, and the rates are very reasonable. Staff are friendly, efficient, and caring people as well. They're all so good that my last visit was after moving 3-1/2 hours away--to bring my extremely elderly best friend for dental surgery. It was well worth the drive to know with certainty that she'd get the very best care under anesthesia that can be dangerous for an old girl. read more
