The park has a basketball court as well as a tennis court . You will usually see a few people fishing in the pond (you will also see many geese-this is their hangout). The playground area is loved by my grandchildren and the splash pad is really cute and has kept the kids cool on many days during this hot summer. This is a clean, well maintained park . If I had a preference, I would prefer a few more shaded/tree covered areas in the park , but if you love the sun and don't need any more shade than what the individual shelters provide-this is a great place .

They should do it correctly and right, when they consider the crowds that frolic and play here. There isn't even true permanent bathroom facilities here till last year sometime, when temporary facilities were installed. A lot of investment and work is needed here before the park sinks into the sunset. Park is closed after sunset so don't even think of coming here to enjoy the Milky Way or meteor showers, etc. Police will come chase you off.

I do like this park and go jogging here often, there's some additional benefits of the Reddy Bikes…read morebeing recently installed that warrant a review update (I think $1 to join in the month of April for the year) and having a clear bikeable path to Niagara Falls. There are also picnic tables and you can see folks fishing along the Niagara River at times and some cute birdhouses. The negatives are that the part by 66th-60th st is often filled with litter and some clean up efforts need to be made. The proximity to the road along the waterfront is also a bit of a negative, but as you get further down there is more green space. Overall, I jog here often and look forward to riding a bike all the way down to the Falls using the bike trail on this park!

I stopped by to get information about tours and attractions, and she was absolutely wonderful from the moment I spoke with her. Gigi was friendly, bubbly, patient, and extremely helpful. She took the time to explain the different attractions thoroughly and helped me strategize what to see and when to see it based on the weather, my schedule, and the amount of time I had available. She did not just hand me information; she helped me make a plan. She also assisted with reserving my tours and clearly explained how to catch the bus, how to get around, and how to navigate the area. Since I was traveling alone, her kindness and guidance made a big difference. She made the experience feel much easier and much more enjoyable. I followed her suggestions and went on the tours and attractions she recommended, and they were amazing. I truly appreciate her friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to help. Gigi is a great representative for Niagara Parks, and I just wanted to thank her and recognize her excellent service.
