We call it the fort
Melissa A.

This park is the most awesome park. Just scroll through the photos and you can see how elaborate the playground is. It's pretty much like a huge fort, and so much fun for kids. It's not really the kind of park where you can just sit under a shady tree and let your kids go. You kind of have to follow them around so you don't lose them, but hey at least you get a workout. There is also another section with a really cool zip line. There are two zip lines, one that is a little disc you sit on and the other is a full chair you can sit in (for all ability levels). There are also a couple large slides in that area. Tons of grassy area too. There are often carnivals and fairs held here during the summer because of how large the park is.

Came here with our two year old and the Wild West park is awesome. We couldn't believe it was free and would have happily paid a small entrance fee. The slides were a lot of fun and we liked that there was plenty of shade when we needed. I probably wouldn't come in the middle of the day during the summer as the heat would be too much but anything after 5:30 works.

This spot needs a recent review! There is more to it, but by far the best thing here is the unique,…read morewhimsical playground design. Little kids love this - it inspires the imagination. There's even a sort of tiny hydraulic elevator that's you don't find elsewhere. Overall the equipment caters to littler kids, but there is plenty to keep interest of older kids too. I wouldn't be thrilled about the idea of sending kids to this park without supervision...although it's not exactly 'ghetto' like other reviewers have said, there are some 'unsavory' characters hanging out around this particular part of town from time to time.

They seem to be cracking down on the teenage kids to come over to hang out, but in after school hours, you were definitely going to see them in the picnic area I will say, that the picnic area and the playgrounds, and restrooms, are a little more run down and haven't had a lot of sprucing up in the last several years, but they're still tidy and functional. Not necessarily a destination park, but super convenient if you're in the area and want a little green grass, shade, and fresh air.

What a strange little park. I found it on the Yelp app, and when driving up, I thought surely I had…read morethe wrong address. You drive into a neighborhood, and make a turn down a dead end street. And there it is, at the end of the street. In fact, there's not really any formal parking, just parking along the side of the cul-de-sac. There are a few picnic tables and one pavilion, a water spigot, garbage service, and a playground. The playground is actually pretty cool, and probably the main attraction. Mostly, though, there's a whole lot of grass here. If you want to run free, picnic, or play a game of ultimate, football, or anything else that requires lots of open space, this is your big grassy field. In the back corner there's a chain link backstop, but no real baseball diamond to speak of as it's all grass. Ya, a little strange to be finding this little park in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but strange is good in this case. A nice diversion and certainly in this incredible fall weather, a nice place to get out of the house while we still can.

There's no roads nearby, other than the cul-de-sac, so there's no dangerous streets bordering the park, so you don't have to worry about children crossing the road and getting into trouble. The playground equipment is relativity new and offers a lot of fun climbing, slides, and other unique obstacles. Our little boy loves playing at Harvest Estates Park! There's a baseball area among the large grass field and several large trees that provide ample shade on a hot summer day. There's also a covered picnic pavilion with several Punic tables. The picnic area is a little worn out and the tables are dirty.
