I brought paperwork of my most recent lab work and some tests that had been done on me. Did she want to re-check all my crazy labs? Nope Did she want to look at the paperwork? Nope Did she type out notes while I talked to her? Nope (she said, verbatim, "I'll type this all out later.") She barely listened to my lungs and that was it. We absolutely love Darla Barry-can she be out primary care provider? The office itself might surprise you. The phones seem always to be a little bit busy and sometimes you are on hold a while. But everyone is kind and caring. Sometimes the wait to be seen can be a few minutes longer than you might wish but I promise you that it's worth the cost. Stick with it! We switched from IU north because we wanted a more natural birth experience and we wanted a prenatal and medical team that could fully get behind those choices. Two days ago, I had the first set of spinal injections. It took four months to get on their schedule, which is absurd to begin with. Although IUH has all of my current info (including insurance... I was just in their hell hole that they call an emergency room the day before) I received non-stop automated calls from the billing office to "please wait while we connect you to someone to help." That someone never picked up. After waiting on hold three times for more than 10 minutes, I left a message for them to stop calling. At the Surgery Center, everyone was kind and efficient. I was in and out within about an hour and a half. So, kudos there. This morning, I received a follow-up call from the Surgery Center. If you're familiar with IUH, they only care about what your pain level is on a scale from 1-10. Well, I couldn't answer that question because I'm not experiencing pain exactly, but rather the feeling best described as a low voltage electrical charge in the area of the injections. Being on chemo for nearly five years, at times, my mind isn't very clear and have some difficulty expressing myself. The follow-up call lasted exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Before the line was disconnected, I heard the woman say to her coworker, "That was a long winded call!" WOW, REALLY?! So sorry to have been a bother to you, lady. My spouse was sitting next to me and heard it as well. I immediately called back and told her (I didn't catch her mush-mouth name) that I heard what she said. After a long pause, she lied and said she wasn't referring to me. Once she realized she was caught in her lie, she started throwing out apologies. I don't take apologies from liars and hung up on her. I left a message on the main line (which is only a recording) stayinyg that I wanted to talk to the director. We'll see if that happens. I also sent a message to IUH through the patient portal. I received an automated email stating that someone from the appropriate area would call. We'll see if that happens, too. From my experience over the past two years (aside from PT and my GI) IUH is the absolute worst. I would probably fall off my chair if I came across a doctor that actually cared or had any empathy. The same is true with most of the nurses. The following BS is from the Senate Street Surgery Center: "Your successful outcome is always our goal. You will be supported by expert staff and the highest standards of quality and safety." What a joke!

Dust is very dangerous to patients that need to heal. A dust filled environment can cause infection and impend healing.. please clean up your hospital! I had 2 videos from 4/17/2026 & 4/21/2026 which really showed both doctors how my eyes were not working together. Care was superb, and the office check in was seamless, with the doctor coming in pretty quick. Some of the exams were the same or similar to a regular eye exam, but there were a lot more that clearly defined my eye muscle issues. I will need to see a Neurological Surgeon to hopefully correct my vision to stop or greatly alleviate my double vision concerns. Highly recommended doctor

An exam summary with restrictions was provided for school. She's been progressing well and has weekly check ups to reevaluate her condition before she can return to full school or sports activities.
