The space, the layout, the team, the systems--everything has been designed with intention, care, and deep respect for the families they serve. It runs seamlessly, which reflects the incredible thought and heart behind it. What impacted me most is the way they approach their work. They are not just running a business--they are walking alongside families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, with compassion, integrity, and dignity. In an industry where that level of care can be hard to find, LoveStrong stands apart. These are genuine, hardworking, loving people--not those looking to make a profit from someone else's loss. Our Mom passed away on March 8th. We live near Magnolia Funeral Home and wanted to see about them…read moreworking with us for Mom's service. Upon arrival I met with the owner Glenn and his wife Lori who were very professional and yet very compassionate. We went thru their pricing and all options we envisioned for our Mom's Celebration of Life service. Our Mother requested to be cremated so this was done. We were able to purchase 4 small memorial urns for each of us children and a main Urn for Mom's ashes. Our Father then passed away three months later on June 13th. Our Father was in the Navy for 20 years and wanted a full Military honors service. Glenn immediately contacted the Tomball and Conroe VFW and arranged a full 21-gun salute and flag folding ceremony. It was BREATH TAKING and exactly what our Father requested. He was also a Master Mason and we were able to also have a full Masonic ceremony. No pressure whatsoever on services or options which helped us tremendously to get thru the whole process. From writing the obituary to the providing the photos to the music and program. All sooo seamless which was incredibly helpful during our time of mourning. The main hall for the service was beautiful and had plenty of seating for our many friends and family who attended. Our parents were then laid to rest together in the Magnolia Memorial Cemetery there on the premises of Magnolia Funeral Home in a beautiful spot for Veterans. Glenn also assisted us in locating a company to help create a custom headstone for our parents. They also suggested a Pastor who led the service, Scott Zbylot, was FANTASTIC. He came out to my home, met with my brothers and I, asked us numerous questions which had us all laughing and crying. He did a fantastic job with the service. Our parents would of been proud of us. Thank you sincerely to Glenn, Lori and the other employees at Magnolia Funeral Home.

Review Update Magnolia Funeral Home was informed directly by…read morelaw enforcement that my mother's ashes were stolen. For the owner to question where I was or imply that I "should have found her sooner" is victim‑shaming and completely ignores the facts. I went to this facility years ago searching for my mother. I didn't find her because they placed her under a false name, not one from marriage. Their staff never verified next‑of‑kin, never requested documentation, and accepted a fraudulent authorization from someone with zero legal rights. Under Texas law, I am the only legal next of kin. Under Texas Penal Code, retaining property after being told it is stolen is unlawful. Accepting a falsified identity is forgery. Mishandling remains creates civil liability. No court order is required to return stolen property to its rightful owner. They keep referencing the "grief of a mother," yet completely ignore the grief of a daughter whose mother's ashes were stolen, mislabeled, and kept from her for 21 years. That grief is real, and their actions have only compounded it. This experience has been devastating, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable. BEWARE OF THE ETHICS OF MAGNOLIA FUNNERAL HOME - I found out this week my mother's ashes were placed in Mausoleum without next of kin approval under a fictitious name. Notified Magnolia funeral home. REFUSED TO GIVE HER BACK WITHOUT A COURT ORDER AND PAYING. They did not verify the name. Just know if they have an issue with a loved one, they will not make it right without you spending thousands of dollars to take them to court. EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE DOCUMENTATION.

The services Mabrie provided was beautiful, thoughtful and thorough. Their handling of everything, including family members that can be "extra" was done with patience, care and respect. Thank you to Justin. And a special thank you to Hazel, our funeral director. The way everything was planned dealing with and organizing a large family during the funeral service and coordinating with the VA Houston Cemetery for interment at a later date took the pressure off a heavily grieving family. My only advice to anyone planning a funeral is to know and work within your budget. You can still make your loved one's home-going special and memorable. We were fortunate to be able to do so. With freshly broken hearts and growing grief our family was gently navigated through the process of honoring the greatest man I've ever known. Justin Mabrie's professionalism was key in the initial planning and his follow up helped us logistically as we neared the final service. He promptly returned texts and answered emails. Knowing Justin was behind the scenes gave me space to grieve and connect with family and friends. The mortuary is beautifully decorated with artwork from community artists. The space feels like a monument to the black experience and to family. I firmly believe that when services and products are both convenient and high quality a higher price should be expected. We honored my dad by not being stressed or worried about how the program would look or if the space would accommodate our guests. The Mabrie staff had everything covered. All my family had to do was be in the moment. That's all I had strength to do and for that I am truly thankful. The burial at Veterans Memorial was also supported by Justin and his staff. They arrived early and led us seamlessly to the burial site. At the conclusion of the service Justin presented our family with a beautiful Generational Family Bible. It was just the kind of above and beyond gestures you would expect from an establishment where compassion and thoughtfulness is a core value. It was a blessing to have Mabrie handling my dad's home going service. I would absolutely use them again.
