Recently I had an addition put on to my house and needed to get window film installed to minimize the UV/heat index in the house. Scott Boettcher from Veteran Tinting and Blinds was fantastic. He came out to the house and explained the different films that were available and what percentages of UV index each film blocked from the sun. I was impressed that he was able to match the existing film that we had. We've had this bronze film for seven years (on dual pane windows) and love it. It has a lifetime warranty, has never curled, cracked, or blistered. Scott was prompt, VERY reasonable, accommodating, and very friendly. He's a former Marine and his work ethic shows. I'd recommend him to anyone. And I definitely recommend getting film on your home windows. It has cut our utility bills over 45%. No longer are our west facing windows a heat nightmare! read more

While shopping around for window tint and blinds for our clinic, we came across Veteran Tinting & Blinds, and we could not be happier! We highly recommend Veteran Tinting and Blinds to everyone! We made an appointment with Marci to have our windows looked at for tinting. Marci arrived early and was very friendly and honest with us, she measured all the windows and didn't bother any of the regular business we had going on. She gave us an estimate and her we scheduled with her to have the tint put on. The tinting process went very smooth and and we were extremely pleased with the quality of work that Scott did, he knows exactly what he is doing and it showed! He was quick but very thorough, the price was extremely reasonable for the kind of film we had installed and the work that was done. We met again with Marci after the tint was complete, when we decided that we loved the work they did and wanted to get blinds as well. Again, Marci was readily available to meet with us at times that worked around our business and patients. She was respectful and had samples to show of the products that we had expressed previous interest in. Scott and Marci were both extremely knowledgeable about the product/wood blinds and was able to tell us the difference between a few different samples. Amazing customer service from the first visit to final result!! Scott and Marci are so knowledgeable on all products available for window tinting. Scott directed us to EnerLogic. We tinted all our windows in an old Phoenix home built in the 1920's. The results from just the first few window applications were incredible! It took 2 days 10 hour days for the application. We are continually amazed at the way our house feels in the middle of August in Phoenix. It was a hot box before Veteran's arrived. I am actually waiting in great anticipation for my energy bill. I got a quote from him and was really impressed with the service he was going to provide. Very friendly, no pressure and very informative. He came and tinted my whole house, every window. He did a fantastic job. He went over all the options with me, and made me feel comfortable with my choice of tint. By the time he was done tinting the windows, it felt like a whole new house!! He was readily available to meet with us at a convenient time, always respectful and had samples to show of the product he was going to install. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was able to tell us the difference between several companies products. He advertises that he has 20+ years of experience and it showed when he came to install our clear window film. Quick but thorough, I couldn't tell that there was a window film on the window until I was standing right next to the window and only because I knew what to look for. I would like to state that I do my research before purchasing most anything! Especially something like whole house window film, there are so many different manufactures, shades, colors and installers. I contacted Scott at Veteran Tinting & Blinds for estimate (I even offered him measurements of windows that another company had measured and estimated installation. He refused to take measurements due to if other company measured incorrectly, then there would be a problem and I would not be very satisfied). Anyways Scott came to house to show me different types of films I inquired about (also gave large samples to better visualize shades and colors up against my windows) and gave me my estimate. I ended up choosing Scott at Veteran Tint because he was very professional at first contact, while giving estimate and answered all my questions to my satisfaction, I also liked the product he used, product warranty and pricing. Scott returned at scheduled date and time (he actually called after he completed his first appointment to say that he was on his way). Scott performed window film installation April 2011, there were some minor air bubbles after install, he explained what to expect over the next few days, how to clean & care for the film and finally left it with if there should be any problems feel free to contact him. I contacted Scott about a month later, I explained I was seeing a rainbow effect at night and only from inside the house, Scott informed me that CFL bulbs will cause this rainbow effect, which he was absolutely correct. Anyways my wife and I are very happy with window film, its amazing that you can keep your window blinds open all day and actually see better out them than before, also a huge improvement with amount of heat that was coming through windows prior to window film installation IMO Scott was very professional, he also is a very clean and conscientious worker, you absolutely will not be disappointed with his product or service.
