He spoke to me about the space expectations for heavy drapery, as well as the maintenance requirements, and we quickly pivoted to other options. When he brought up the idea of a pull-down shade, I balked hard; my visions of those types of shades was outdated. We ended up choosing exactly what he suggested and I AM ECSTATIC! It took about four weeks to come in, the installer showed up right on time, and this is a blackout shade that looks so elegant and modern - I am thrilled. It rolls smoothly, and as it rolls down it seamlessly glides over the sliding glass door handle. I was envisioning something more clunky, something that protruded but this lays flat and truly blocks the light. I ordered blinds on Jan. 12 of this year from this store and it has been the worst experience of my…read morelife. Al told us our blinds would be done within 3 weeks (one of the reasons we ordered from him). He also promised that he would get a shutter fixed for us and have it back quickly. We just got it a week ago. We are in mid April and the final pieces of the blinds were finally delivered. First issue was the blinds we ordered did not come in a sliding door choice, no problem. We were not notified of this for a week after we thought everything had been ordered. Not Al's fault on the blind issue with color but we were still assured that the blinds would not be delayed due to this. Multiple issues with getting the blinds but when we were told they were finally here, about a month ago, we were relieved. Well, the day the installer came we found that one blind was mismeasured and the other main blind was missing the remote and couldn't be installed. We waited another 3 weeks for the remote and the new blind for the mis measured window. Jenny and Alex who work with this company were great and did everything they could to help us but did inform us the Al over promises and is not able to deliver. The blinds are a good quality and we are happy with them overall but I would stay away from this company due to the way we were handled by Al and the broken promises. He doesn't really care about the inconveniences he causes his customers and it's just about how fast he can make the sale and get out of your house.

He was able to take some of my ideas and incorporate them while improving on them. Justin did a great job on a long install. There were a couple of scheduling blips and one blind measurement was slightly off, but these situations were all handled with excellent customer service and timeliness. The blinds came amazingly fast too. I'm very happy with the final result.
