We…read morewere pleased with the sizeable refund we obtained after experiencing an ant infestation (repeatedly) and numerous other required repairs to this property. First, the staff at Casas de Santa Fe were very responsive to our complaints and attempts to exterminate the ant infestation. They delivered a portable AC for us, too. The complaint is specific to the property owners negligence on keeping this property up to the standards of Casas de Santa Fe. CASA VERANO PROPERTY OWNER: repair the broken handle on the microwave; make sure the windows are operable since you do not have AC in this home; replace the old and outdated appliances/coffee maker/stove; replace the uncomfortable mattresses and old linens; repair the inoperable shower door and get rid of the moldy tile. We will not stay at CASA VERANO, but we will use Casas de Santa Fe again and again.

In fact, if you need another to fill a bedroom inbox me and I'm there (lol, but seriously). This place is perfect. From the moment you arrive, it's impossible to not be transported to a place of peace, tranquility and joy. Multiple decks to see the stunning views. A pool, hot tub, and sauna. A yoga room!!! Great if you already have a practice and can use facilities on your own, but we also found it was very reasonable to just hire a teacher from Santa Fe to come up for a private lesson. Hiking right outside your door. Every bedroom (plus the cabin!) is set up perfectly to make you feel like a VERY ZEN queen/king. Watch the sunrise and the sunset over the mountains, while you swing on the front swings. Eat dinner under the stars or in the formal dining room. The choices are endless at Rass Mandal. The experience of this house unlocked possibilities, I'm not even kidding! It is a ways up the mountain road-- so not for people who really wan ot be in the center of twon. But we really had no trouble getting to town when we wanted to go out and explore. Mostly though you'll want to stay in, trust me! :) Also Richard is the nicest. We mopped up water for nearly an hour before we could find the turn off valve. 4. Wi-Fi was unreliable. 5. Dish TV did not work. 6. Air flow in 4th bedroom was very poor. Most of these issues were not the fault of Adobe Destinations. They did, however, give us a 10% refund, but all of us felt this was insufficient. Note - we submitted a review to Adobe Destinations, but needless to say, they have not posted it on their website. We enjoyed Santa Fe. But, I would not ever recommend this property to anyone.

Contacted Adobe Destinations and spoke with Marilyn. Explained the situation -- that we needed place for two to three months, maybe longer. And that we had two cars. And pets. Marilyn was wonderful. While on the phone, we went to the website. She "showed" us several properties online that would meet our needs. She gave additional info about each property. We decided on a charming casita. The application and payment process was painless. Communication prior to our arrival was good. Check-in went smoothly. And the casita was indeed charming. And efficient. Many amenities like nightlights, a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, a washer/dryer, cable, internet, room for two cars in the driveway, and a great "welcome" binder that told us all we needed to know. We only had one issue. One evening, the power went out on one wall, affecting the television and internet. I couldn't find a circuit breaker box in the house, and it was dark outside. And it was a Friday after hours. I called the number. The answering service took my information. Within an hour, Patrick called. He walked me through finding the circuit breaker box. I used a flashlight, as the box was around the back of the house. And fixed the problem in a minute. Elaine in the office was an angel in many ways. We couldn't be more pleased with the service and the property. I highly recommend Adobe Destinations.

It was more than we could imagine, we stayed in a lovely room, with comfortable beds, a fire place and a cute bathroom. There was even an enclosed patio with a gate off of the room (made it easier to let the dog out in the morning). The space was very open and we felt like we were at home. There was wireless internet, satellite TV and plenty of space for my friend, my dog and I to roam around. We were the only ones there during our stay and my dog LOVED it! Plenty to sniff and explore. Anne, the owner is wonderful and sweet. She recommended great places for us to eat and helped us find our way around. They offer great pet services and we were allowed to leave our well-behaved dog in the room. The breakfasts were delicious, every morning there was coffee, tea, juice, granola with fresh fruit and yogurt. And if you wanted eggs and bacon made to order with scones! This is a little ways outside of Santa Fe but so worth the stay, much better than being in a city. The views from the Hacienda were gorgeous and we saw snow, clear skies, cloudy days, and starry nights (in the two days we were there in late March). It was gorgeous! Can't wait to go back!

Each room and main room had a fireplace which was a nice touch to add to the ambiance with the fall weather. The place decorates itself- the architecture is southwestern and unique. The views are gorgeous and the place is perfectly secluded, yet there is still access to the funky little town of Madrid close by. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our intimate family wedding. The team at the Hacienda made planning from a distance very easy for us and we were well taken care of. We are truly so happy with our choice to get married at Hacienda Dona Andrea :)
