Not sure why there are so many bad reviews I have always gotten exactly what I ordered and fast

I have mixed feelings about Vertigo Vinyl. They have amazing exclusives. I'll give them that. Not sure if this constant churning out of vinyls though is affecting their ability to fulfill orders on a timely manner and respond to customer issues. I have e-mailed customer service multiple times for various problems. Some of my experiences have been good. Others have been lacking. This inconsistency is just not doing it for me. Still waiting to hear from them on a few emails I sent out on two of my orders. I know several items are pre-orders but it is discouraging to continuously shell out money when they can't follow through with release dates that have come and gone. read more

Been collecting records for 5 years, this is by far the WORST record shop I've experienced. Just terrible customer service all around. Purchased what was listed on their website as the sea glass green version of Kiss Land by The Weeknd. Wanted to support a small business and not pay for a reseller. When it arrived, it was not the sea glass green version. Just the standard black vinyl version. Reached out to them via email and the contact us option on the website, took 2 days for them to respond. Despite clearly telling them I would like for resolution, never happened. The person just said after me sending two follow up emails, that they were reaching out with the owner to see what they can do. Never got back to me. Again I clearly stated in my email what I would like. As there is a price difference in the sea glass green and standard versions of the vinyl. Instead of getting back to me, they just updated the listing on their website Had to go dispute with my credit card company. Dispute did not go my way because they said I "agreed to the merchants terms" which doesn't make sense because I did not get what I ordered and they don't respond promptly. After leaving a bad google review, The Owner emailed me his "personal cell number" after my initial asking to make it right and that he was unaware of my situation prior to my review. I provided him screen shots of my emails to the customer service email. He said he would process the refund right there and send me a return label to ship the vinyl back. Again the vinyl hasn't been played as I found the sea green vinyl elsewhere after not getting it from them. I had disputed the charge again, right before he reached out after it was initially denied. He Stated to reach out after the bank made their decision, as the bank has the funds on hold due to the dispute, to get the refund processed. Once I got another email last week stating that my claim was denied once again, I texted him back. Ignored. Texted him 2 days later asking if he would still honor the refund request, If not, I would attempt to sell that incorrect record I received at my local shop to recoup some of my losses. Asked for a shipping label and told him that the vinyl hasn't been played. The owner Replied back with a screen shot showing a blank text history with my number, lol Would also post those, but I am too lazy to try and blur out a number and I don't want to risk anyone's personal cell number out there on the internet. Replied back with screen shots of my text exchange with him and the emails I sent to customer service, no response now for another 48+ hours. I have my personal cell phone on DND as I work in finance assisting clients and broker dealers on the phone. So I can't be on my cell outside of lunch/breaks, but ignoring my texts after volunteering your number is insane. Go elsewhere and spend your money for someone who values your business. Zia records, park ave cds, rolling recs, graffiti records, movie-mars are all great small businesses with great customer service, accurate listings on their websites, prompt shipping, and actually caring about their customers. It's a quaint shop with a mixture of used and new records available for purchase. The staff is friendly and they boxed up my order without me even asking. read more

They never sent the record I pre-paid for. Not credit back. No refund. Tracking still says label created and never advanced. They steal your money. Don't fall for "exclusive editions". They have no intention of doing more than taking your money. read more

I ordered a vinyl, and the variant was falsely advertised. After calling the store and going back and forth with customer service through email, they finally said they'd give a refund if I shipped back and that they would cover shipping. This was also after I left a one star review on the product (which they took down). Other people have left similar reviews about the product not being what it is. I mailed the vinyl back and received a refund for the product, but not the shipping. The company has completely ghosted me. They are still falsely advertising "The Secret Of Us Deluxe" Gracie Abrams vinyl, so do not expect to get what the photo or description states. Thought I would support a small business, but I will never buy from Vertigo Vinyl again or recommend them. read more

I am quite surprised to read the negative reviews. I have placed more than three different orders and have received all of them well-packaged and within a reasonable timeframe. While some of the records took longer to arrive than others, this can happen with any record store. I reached out to inquire about my order status, and the person who answered the phone (who might be the owner) was very nice. This is a great vinyl shop, and I will continue to order from them! read more

They lie about shipping and screw up orders and even told me to shop elsewhere if I didn't like them. Currently waiting on an order from 11/23/24. I told my nephew, no more. I refuse to deal with this company anymore. read more

I ordered three vinyls through this company online, somehow all three vinyls have songs that overlap and skip. When I tried to get my money back or new vinyls the company refused to provide me with either. 100000% would not recommend buying any records through this company. read more

Takes forever to ship and if you cancel they charge you $5. Never had that with any other online store.

Never received my record. Most reviews I've seen describe the same pattern of buyers never receiving their orders. Vertigo Vinyl is run by children who steal your money. read more

This place is a scam. Don't place an online order with them- they never send your merchandise and don't respond to email, social media, or phone calls. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company because I was charged and never got what I ordered (in stock records), even after waiting a month. read more

One star because I have to. Never received my order. I sent email after email inquiring about the status of my order and did not receive any form of response. Finally had to file a chargeback with my credit card company. I would say their customer service is unacceptable, but there isn't any. Save yourself the energy and believe the negative reviews. read more
