What it had in service it lacked in quality. The espresso was weak and a little bland and even my 14 oz. cup nearly drowned out the shot. Nice restaurant, good place to work, lovely art. The coffee is not for coffee lovers though. Suggestions for management: train (or hire) real baristas. I liked The idea of single origin beans, but what you had was lacking. After spending the day working on my moms place and not feeling much like cooking we thought that we'd go and grab a bite. The waitress was young and friendly who greeted us and brought us our drinks and menus. The owner came out of the back as well to introduce herself and have a quick chat. I ordered the steak and mashed potatoes with gravy and my mom had the same. The steaks were so tasty... definitely Alberta beef and were cooked perfectly!
