During my visit to Kansas City in 2019 I stumbled upon Madi Apparel's store and until the last two years (due to my allergy issues) I was a regular buyer of their beautifully dyed bamboo clothing. So when I saw that Slow Motion Goods was a short walk from our hotel where I was staying for a local developer conference I jumped at making a stop. Although Slow Motion Goods carries Madi Apparel branded clothing, it's no longer a Madi Apparel only shop. A bit more like a lifestyle business, Slow Motion carries purses, repurposed tees, records, and even recycled items dyed with Madi's unique dyes. I picked up a gorgeous set of table linens as a gift that I know Anneanne will love and was so excited that they're branching out into recycled and repurposed concepts made with the Madi Apparel flair. All in all, it was great to visit a physical store with Madi items, and I will definitely be back next time I'm in Kansas City!

I went in for the 75% off clearance, and left with 2 giant toes full of hand soaps and hand lotions. The back of the product has a description that describes the scent. There is a great sink set up for you to try them. When they packed my bags, they added a little cardboard insert to make the bag strong. Nice touch. We are lucky to have this store in Blue Springs! It's easy to park and walk right in. Another thing I was impressed with is the kind approach of the staff. These folks were attentive but not pushy, and they seemed genuinely glad to be at work. You can go back and read some of my other reviews and I will be honest to share my opinion...if the staff doesn't want you there, you can feel it! This is not the case with this store. They were all busy doing a reset of the store after Christmas, but they still took the time to show me all the deals and we "fan girlied" all over the Vanilla hand lotions for only $2! Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience, great products and fabulous service!

The two staff members who I worked with were extremely helpful in looking for existing inventory and ordering the cards from corporate hallmark. They were exactly correct with the date they would be delivered. Other web sites say they have Braille cards, but the dots are never raised like they are on the Hallmark cards, which makes the other cards totally useless to someone who needs to "read" the braille. These are the real deal. And they are beautiful, too as a Christmas card should be. Many times, the products for the blind are second rate "because there is a limited market" That attitude sucks. Wow! Enrique, Dee Dee, and Olga takes customer service to another level! I'm currently in the…read moreprocess of having a ring made, and will update this review once the ring is completed. So far, this experience has been spectacular. I've searched at other stores and online and their pricing is competitive. The quality of their pieces are the best, with the best warranty. I walked into the store with my defense up because Ive heard so many other stores tell us why they're the best. It's actually different here. If you're looking for jewelry, I genuinely 100% recommend Diamonds Direct. My story is below: My fiancé and I have been looking to upgrade my ring, as the original was very inexpensive and sized incorrectly. We've been shopping around for a few months and never considered customizing a ring. We found one ring at jewelry store nearby that we loved in May. Since then, we've continued to look around in KC, Charlotte (NC), and Charleston (SC) since my fiancé is based on the East coast. Last month, I walked into Diamonds Direct to check out their sale. Enrique and Dee Dee helped me. I didn't find anything I loved. I told Dee Dee about the other ring I found and told her I had planned on customizing that ring. The following day, Enrique asked me for a picture of the ring I loved. I didn't think anything of it and sent him one. A few days later, Enrique asked me to come in to talk about possibly designing a ring. Honestly, I rolled my eyes thinking, "Here we go with the over priced sales pitch". I strongly considered not going, as it's a 45 minute drive for me. Before I met with Enrique for our appointment, I went to the original store to see if they could give us an estimate on adding some small diamonds on the side of the ring I loved. The associate told us that they couldn't give us an estimate on a custom piece without a $250 fee (which goes towards the ring) for a CAD. I didn't feel comfortable paying $250 for a drawing without knowing if it would end up being above our budget. I asked for a very rough estimate for an idea, but was told they couldn't answer. I left feeling disappointed but figured we would have to pay the fee and I almost walked back into the store that day to pay. I ended up leaving to think about it a little longer. I drove 10 minutes down the street to Diamonds Direct to keep my word of coming in and hoped it would be a quick meeting. Dee Dee and Enrique presented me with the CAD and a rendering of exactly what I wanted when I got there!! I never even asked for them to do it. They gave me an estimate that was just below our budget and even encouraged me to look around at other stores to make sure I was getting the best prices. I was almost speechless and definitely blown away. I've searched for better prices but haven't found anything better. There have been other little pleasant surprises along the way in this process. The ring should be completed in 2-3 weeks and I can't wait!
