When I did go in and triy to discuss the issue, Esther walked right out and said we needed to "set an appointment because she had to leave or to talk to one of the girls". In other words, she didnt want to talk to us which I shouldve guessed when she avoided every one of our calls. Poor, rude customer service and Viramontes was at complete fault. This was a costly mistake. Don't ever use a broker. Go straight to the insurance agency.

I called recently because Farmers Insurance sent me a non-renewal, I contacted the office for an explanation, one girl told me Farmers was leaving so she sent me a new Insurance agency quote. I called to get more information on that new policy she told me if I do not like it go somewhere else, I thought that was a bit rude maybe she is having a bad day. I called again on another day someone else answered I explained I needed more information about the company she told me to google it and if I did not like it go somewhere else lol. Wow, so I did I called my other agent at Farmers Insurance she investigated and explained to me that Farmers Insurance will no longer deal with Brokers, so they issued a non-renewal, simple. I may have gone with the new insurance policy they tried to sell me but they had no knowledge and did not want to deal with the issue of explaining why! They explained that the loyalty program wears off after 6 years (3% per year, for 6 years is maximum). I explained that premiums should be lowered as my car is losing value; they claimed that my vehicle is getting older but because the "safety features" on the car are also getting older that my premium is going up. SO new car, old car premiums don't change? Where's the logic? Also, if you're in a heavily latino population zip code your rates will also be above the average level in California, due to the "heavy latino driving population" in SG/HP/East LA/Etc. Moreover, I had a claim where someone else hit me. They had no sense of urgency after all those top premiums I've paid! I paid for the damages out of pocket and they claimed will go to litigation to get my deductible back but never contacted me until I reached out to them and inquired myself 3months later! That's when headquarters explained that they did not find anyone at fault, and I will not be reimbursed my deductible. All this trouble and I was clearly found not at fault; imagine if I actually needed them for something more concerning! Nevertheless, i tried calling and calling this office and no response, no call back until I left a voicemail that I wanted to add another vehicle to my policy. Sure enough I get a call after "closing hours" for help with that! So glad I cancelled and never dealing with this office/company again. I mean time after time they charge top dollar, have the damn deep-voiced black men ensure you that you are with the best service company. And it has been nothing but a greedy insurance company. Sure not all issues were this particular office's fault; its the State Farm agency overall.
