I noticed right away that the kitchen is tiny. It made me wonder how they manage to put out so much food. Service was standard. Nothing to complain about while we were sitting there, but the aftermath was a disaster. My partner and I both got extremely sick a few hours after leaving. It was pretty clearly food poisoning, likely salmonella based on the symptoms. It is very disappointing since so many people talk this place up. I will not be going back. Her energy and genuine care were impeccable. She took the time to suggest ingredients and created a delicious soup specially for my husband so that he could still enjoy a flavorful meal while staying on his liquid diet. The recipe she prepared was absolutely amazing. What impressed us the most was how welcome and comfortable she made us feel. Hortensia truly made us feel at home, and her kindness and compassion are something that cannot be easily described. She went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. Not only is she an amazing person, but the food was also delicious, and the atmosphere and location are wonderful.
