Magical back garden bananas over table
    Michael G.

The food was creative, tasty and the wood fire oven give a fine delicate flavor to the pizza and breads. The team was in transition with a fresh service approach. Never easy, I know, to move and improve. The service was fantastic and genuine, the pleasure converse with the manager, the owner and the kitchen team. The location near the hotel zone and the rustic charm of the "open kitchen" literally walking through. It was quite unique the back patio bananas hanging over the table is only Puerto Vallarta possibility! Can't wait to return next year. It's already on my list.

    Florios: pizza with dipping sauce

I love pizza. Too lazy to walk anywhere so ordered for delivery. It's +55 delivery fee. Ordered half pepperoni/jalapeño and half half mushrooms totaling $285 in pesos. Delicious crust and fresh ingredients.

Tomahawk steak and tiramisu for dessert

This place was absolutely delicious!! What made it extra special was the attentive owner and staff! We enjoyed the tomahawk steak with a side of fire grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes and risotto! The pizza is also crafted to perfection! Highly recommend!

A block off the restaurant row of the malecon with 3 dining areas , Air-conditioned and non on the first floor and a second floor rooftop patio. I was searching thru yelp for something that wasn't the typical tourist infested mediocre Italian and found Florios. The building itself has lots of architectural appeal. The food and service were quite good. They do a really nice pizza and had an interesting selection of wines. It won't go down as one of my top dining experiences in PV but certainly one I would return to. They can accommodate large groups and actually take reservations via WhatsApp which I believe I linked to via their Facebook page. I received an immediate response and my table was ready and waiting when I arrived. I'll be back to check out there pastas next time.

Yum!! Was great to switch it up, and have Italian food one night while visiting PV. The restaurant is maybe two blocks from the church. We ate upstairs. Gotta take this small spiral staircase up, but it's cool to be on the rooftop patio. Everything we ordered was pretty dang good.

Vegetarian and pepperoni pizza with chimichurri sauce
    Jallil T.

Pizzaaa. Finally. So good. We ordered the vegetarian and pepperoni pizza. Super good. We ordered in. They knew English. So that helped me a little, The food was delish. But I wanted to order the one I saw on the other re use with Alfredo sauce. But I guess you have to tell them. And I would add extra cheese next time. ALSO can I add that they gave you an amazing chili oil dipping sauce which is extremely spicy, and also a chimichurri that was amazing I put that on all the pizza and it was fantastic other than a side of ranch which I do not want but this was definitely a hit, I would love to make this at home and he's a chimichurri sauce on pizza!! Wow!! Best pizza spin.

Their wood-fired grill is at the center on the menu here: grilled steaks, fresh seafood, shrimp and fish, pizzas, and pasta with shellfish. We particularly liked their chewy, wood fired prebete bread with their standout chimichurri, flavored with garlic, carrot, and red pepper, which were offered before our seafood entrees. The wine highlights Argentine wine like Malbec and Torrontés, but also Italian and Chilean wine. There is an excellent wine shop at the front of the restaurant, where you can pick up a bottle to go.) A complimentary dessert wine was offered with the check: a thoughtful finish to our meal here. Pro tip: Make your reservation about 30 minutes before sunset. You'll have just enough time to order a glass of wine and watch the sunset while taking some incredible photos overlooking the water. The wine list is excellent and pairs perfectly with the menu. The cocktails, however, are the one miss for me. Now let's talk comida (look it up kids) You're probably going to think I've lost my mind, but you have to order the lasagna. I know what you're thinking: "Who let this guy be Yelp Elite?" Hear me out - just trust the process. It is hands-down one of the best dishes on the menu and completely changed my expectations of what to order here. If you're craving seafood, the lobster is a very close second. It's cooked perfectly in a garlic-infused butter and served with mashed potatoes. On paper it sounds like an unusual pairing, but one bite in and it all makes sense. La Cappella is a refreshing change of pace from the taco scene in Puerto Vallarta. Between the romantic setting (there's at least two violin players), the sunset views, the fantastic wine selection, and a meal you'll be talking about afterward, it's absolutely worth the reservation. Remember: don't skip the lasagna! Cheers!

I noticed right away that the kitchen is tiny. It made me wonder how they manage to put out so much food. Service was standard. Nothing to complain about while we were sitting there, but the aftermath was a disaster. My partner and I both got extremely sick a few hours after leaving. It was pretty clearly food poisoning, likely salmonella based on the symptoms. It is very disappointing since so many people talk this place up. I will not be going back. Would really caution and avoid if older or immunocompromised.
