Bus was scheduled to leave at 7:30am but he saw it drive off as he was walking to it at 7:25. I called the office to relate the story and request a refund for the ticket which had been purchased online in advance. The woman first claimed that the bus left on time (not true) and then said that "right on the ticket it says no refunds" (an unconscionable policy given the circumstances). Then she hung up on me. Don't know how these people look themselves in the mirror -- leaving people stranded in subzero temperatures. If you must use them DO NOT purchase an advance ticket. No matter what they do to you, you will not see a refund. Amtrak, Greyhound, hitchhiking, bicycle... anything but this sham of a transportation company.

In addition, he anticipated restroom breaks without us asking, and helped me (70 yr old) in and out of the beautiful and impeccably appointed 'party bus.' The bus had wifi, TV, Netflix, stereo system, beverage set-up, etc. We never had to wait for him, even after the matinee show in bumper-to-bumper midtown. My 11 yr old grandson was thrilled with the very fancy bus and my daughter and I had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for reliability, efficiency, safety, and value. It was a "FIRST CLASS RIDE" indeed.

I contacted the company, and after reviewing their video, they are now saying they "don't see anything." I know what happened, and I have the damage and documentation to prove the incident occurred. Don't go hungry! Do yourself a favor and go up to Atrium Le 1000. Turn left on your way out the door (ie where the buses arrive and depart from) and there are revolving doors on the corner. There's an escalator that will take you to a wonderland of clean, abundant washrooms, free wifi, abundant seating, and tons of food court options. Also, the metro and an ice skating rink, because welcome to Canada. There's another food court and an underground mall connecting this to the main train station, but it's easy to get lost in the maze of underground shops. The Megabus waiting room itself is perfectly fine. It has a few plugs and a charging station. There are seats like the saddest waiting room you've ever encountered. There is a roof, heat, air conditioning. It beats waiting outside like in NYC. If you have extra time, go loiter upstairs. There is no reason to be in this waiting room any longer than you need to. Get here 30 minutes before your bus to give yourself ample time to line up inside the waiting room. Make the mistake of waiting outside and you'll find yourself boarding last.

Incident 6- Driver is dangerous and angry, saying this is not my shift, i took someone's shift. Driver was not explaining reason of break down and went to buy pizza. Incident 7 - No megabus helpline available after 5pm. (They can get sued for this) Incident 8- Driver called mechanical team and suddenly bus started working. What was wrong then? Incident 8- Bus stopped at kingston at 1am. Both drivers started fighting.

But after discussing this matter with one of the representatives, we were offered a fair deal. The representative responded quickly, which was so appreciated, as this trip was planned last minute. They were also extremely abrupt when I called in about a question earlier in the day, hanging up on me twice and speaking to me with the tone of a child. I've also been on a Dartmouth Coach from New York to Hanover that hit a car and delayed our trip by a few hours. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly on the market for transportation to the Upper Valley. However, their complete lack of flexibility or even basic human kindness when interacting with customers let alone when delivering disappointing news is absolutely abysmal and has always left a bad taste in my mouth. Would not recommend purchasing unless you are 100% set on your trip.
