The delivery was spot on time, gave me a call 15 minutes out. I live in a very old house with narrow doorways and steep steps. Jack and Ray delivered these appliances after many measurements, without any complaints as to the difficulty. Took off my doors with great care and hauled these heavy appliances up my narrow back steps weaving around a railing where there was not 1/4 inch to spare. They took care and time with all aspects, from Jack showing me tips of how to use the induction range to Ray making sure I was careful about putting frozen food into the freezer before it was at the temperature required. I truly valued their help and most important to me, was their attitude of concern towards me, the homeowner and the respect it reflected towards Bouchard Pierce. While the sales staff and installation teams were both friendly and knowledgeable, we have now had the worst customer service experience I've had in decades. Fair warning! In less than 5 weeks, a knob broke on the range making the burner inoperable. It's now been over 7 weeks since we reported it and we are yet to get it fixed. In the interim, another knob has broken. We are out $6k and the customer service team could honestly care less. Their communication has been basically nonexistent and the two times we've had to call to follow up, the sales rep was incredibly rude, interrupting me constantly and passing the buck on down the line to anyone she could think of- throwing her sales team under the bus, blaming Bertazzoni, and basically telling us that neither she nor Bouchard-Pierce were remotely responsible. I run a global customer success and services team and if any of my colleagues treated a customer the way we've been treated, they'd be terminated immediately. While I understand that there are constraints in any system, I know what decent customer service looks like and this is NOT IT. I hate that I can't recommend these folks because I am a very loyal local business supporter but this has been a truly terrible experience.

I contacted them to ask them what happened and if they could be on the next truck. They indicated that they would attempt to get them on the next truck. Three days later they did not make it to the local branch again. That day they indicated that they would be on the truck for tomorrow to be delivered to the local branch. That morning they informed me that they received one product but the second product didn't make it. They called back shortly there after and indicated that the second product was at the local branch. I drove to the store and the person at the counter indicated that they only received one product. He opened the box to make sure it was the proper product. It wasn't. I cancelled my order and ordered the products online from Supply House (for $30.00 less) and received the products the following day via UPS. I will never attempt to do business with FW Webb ever again.

I hadn't started anything and sure as hell didn't give it just 3 stars! That being said, let us begin! Downtown Burlington! What a very unique, wonderful little area. Full of restaurants, name brand stores, bars, quaint little shops like this one, a wide open area lined with stores that gives off very Ithaca Commons vibes. The Commons back in the day were the shiiiiiiiit! Sadly nowadays...it's too commercialized. Burlington, VT tho...not so much. Sure they have a Patagonia store and some other bougie ass stores, but it still has that super chill vibe which made me happy. One bad thing...LOTS of homeless! LOTS! I get they are homeless, but wow! For a tiny city like Burlington...it's kinda mind blowing how many homeless they have all over the downtown area. Does that take away some of the magic that is..Burlington? Sure! Maybe a little! Then you come across adorable little stores like Home & Garden Vermont. What a (and I never use this word .. like ever lol but..) what a charming little store. Little bit of everything in there. It's the type of store that tourists absolutely love. Even the high prices don't seem to phase most tourists...then there is me haha! I'm cheap af. So appreciating these types of stores is more my cup of tea lol. Although, I came close to buying a few things in these little stores. My brother and I would see something and be like "let's check the others to see if the prices are any cheaper" They. were, not. Haha! If you saw a very cool Stowe or Burlington t-shirt in one store for $33 ... best beweave..it's $33 in the next one. These stores make their money regardless of cheap fks like myself...and I'm glad they do, Stores like Home & Garden Vermont add so much of that amazing magic that is felt throughout the downtown area. The staff is beyond sweet. Very nice lady helped us when we were there. Very bubbly, smiley, just an incredibly nice human. I did go up to her tho and told her that her store gave off Schitts Creek vibes. Yall remember, Rose Apothecary?? For some reason, parts of this store very much made me think of Patrick and David in their little Schitts Creek shop haha. The employee laughed and she said "all we need is David and we'd be set" haha! Rose Apothecary, now that I think of it...a lot of the stores around downtown are quaint like that. However, Home & Garden, I actually felt like it was like..a sister store of Rose Apothecary haha! I loved when David and Patrick opened that store in that series. I love love stores like that. So it was kind of special to walk in to this store and immediately feel that. Even my brother agreed. So I know I'm not like crazy haha. Store is very nice. Nicely laid out. They pay close attention to details in Home & Garden Vermont. They know exactly where to place everything for maximum exposure. Their front windows are even very homey to look at for the "window shoppers" What a great little shop. This was my first time ever in Vermont. I grew up in upstate New York, too! I know this will not be my first and last time in Vermont. Autumn on the east coast is something that is like no other. As a photographer, VT is like a dream come true during Autumn. Point of me saying that is...I know I will be back and I look forward to going to this little store again and all the others around the downtown area. Seeing as my family is still in upstate NY, yeah, I know I'll be back. Home and Gardrn VT...thank you for a very pleasant experience. You certainly will never be forgotten.
