I saw families with little ones climbing and hiking, and adults of various ages traversing the rocks. There is a way to hike up to the top of the largest peak, but it is slippery getting up and down. No-Frills RV Park, Great Location…read more We came here for the St. George Marathon and wanted to stay somewhere close to downtown. This park was very convenient--just a 5-10 minute drive to everything we needed. Steve was very friendly and helpful getting us into our spot. He even moved us to a site farther away from the road, which was really nice and made for a quieter stay. The park is about 99% permanent residents, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. The laundry facilities were affordable and had newer washers and dryers. The showers were cleaned daily and had great water pressure. I was pleasantly surprised that the sites weren't as close together as I expected, which was definitely a plus. Overall, I'd recommend this park if you're looking for a no-frills, convenient, and affordable place to stay in the area.

Best RV Park in St. George area!…read more Sites are mostly level with large gravel. Sites are very well spaced out and deep! The noise level has greatly improved with the large retention walls on the side of i15. The resort is super clean! Free trash pick up, two dog parks, free doggy poop bags, daily propane fill up, and more. Laundry and bathrooms are very well kept. I haven't used the pool area but I always see staff cleaning and prepping the area. Baseball court, swings, and more are available! The prices are reasonable and what really makes it special is the staff! They are absolutely amazing, from Bree, Dillon, Kevin, Rosie, Marysa and Brevin, the truly take care of the resort and the guests. They've started with weekly events to bring people together, including weekly yoga, group cooking classes, poker night and more. Some are for the whole family and some just for adults.

The 112,000 acre Paria Canyon-Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness was established by the Arizona Wilderness Act of 1984. Located along the Arizona-Utah border, it contains public lands in Kane and Coconino counties. Paria Canyon is managed by two federal agencies, the Bureau of Land Management--Vermillion and Kanab Resource Areas, and the National Park Service--Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The BLM is required to preserve the area's natural conditions, outstanding opportunities, for solitude and primitive recreation, and the area's educational, scenic, and historical values. Our Route After a night's sleep in St. George, UT, me and The Crew caravanned our weekend adventure, camping for two nights in Paria Canyon with a day night through Buckskin Gulch. Before heading off to a land of no cell service, electricity, or any other form of service and comforts of home, we stop by the Visitors Center at the Coyote Buttes Permit Area in Arizona to pick up our permit. Permits are restricted to 10 people, quarters are close so choose wisely. Our day on trail begins in a dirt parking lot where we make any last minute adjustments to our oversized packs, which should not be more than 30% of our overall weight. Fortunately one hiker brought a luggage scale and we were able to weigh in our packs. My was 34 lbs., which is a bit under the 30% Woo Hoo!! Not bad for a virgin to backpacking. 9:30ish a.m. we headed off to our weekend "hotel". Through dirt, sand, and water, we trecked along while stopping to take it all in, the views, the clean air, the creations that have formed over the years. Pictures just don't do this place justice. So majestic, so much beauty, makes me wish we didn't have to ruin it with buildings and cars, etc... The woman at the Visitor's Center said it was seven miles, Ha!!! It was closer to 10 miles to the campsite. But that's ok, a body in motion, stays in motion. We dropped our packs at our campsite six hours later. After looking around for a spring for water, pupping our tents, and settling in, dinner was made and consumed. Once the sun went down, we all went to bed. It was an exhausting day and the following day will require lots of energy and enthusiasm. Disclaimer: Hiking is not something that can be taken lightly. It can be life-threatening as you see and hear on the news, people die or get lost all time. Please if you are going to hike, never go alone and prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Remember when going for a hike, no matter how short you think it may be, always be prepare. Carry at least two liters of water for every five miles (more if the weather is warm), protein bar, nuts, and electrolytes. Wear sturdy lug sole shoes and protective clothing. Some areas the weather can change quicker than a fireman can put on his gear. It is also very important, always always always let a family member or friend know where you are going and when you expect to be back. Lastly, have fun when you hike it up.

They have a small store and nice laundry, showers & bathrooms. They also have a kids play scape, a dog play area, pickle ball courts and a pool. The pool is kind of small and always kids in it, so we didn't hang in that area. It would be a plus for people with kids, though! Very well maintained park! We brought our side by side and with our whole set up we were 75' long and they easily accommodated us in a pull through. You can drive on streets in your off roader from the park all the way to the trails and dunes. You do need to purchase a permit to off road, which you can do online before you arrive. They kept us up to date on different happenings through the week...a yoga class, a couple food trucks (which were delicious) and a derby party. Fun touches! We would definitely stay here again!

There's a path that winds through the park that takes you through the trees, past the flowers and the bushes. There are signs throughout that tell visitors what plants are in the area, so you can better identify what you're looking at. Even though it gets extremely hot in the summer, there's a good amount of shade, so this park can be enjoyed morning, noon and night.

We stayed at this RV park for one month and had originally planned to extend our stay for an…read moreadditional two months. However, we ended up canceling those reservations because of our experience with Sue, the manager. We even forfeited our $200 deposit because we felt that staying longer simply wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, we encountered ongoing issues with roaches and spiders, which made our stay uncomfortable. The management was another major concern. Sue was consistently rude, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The park seems to have an excessive number of rules, with new rules constantly being added on top of the existing ones. It became frustrating trying to keep up with changing expectations. It also felt very uncomfortable knowing that management closely monitors the security cameras and appears to watch residents' every move. Rather than creating a welcoming environment, it felt invasive and unsettling. The one bright spot during our stay was Johnny. He was always friendly, professional, and willing to help with anything we needed. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, Johnny went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His excellent customer service was truly appreciated and made a difficult experience a little better. It's unfortunate because we were prepared to stay for several more months, but Sue's attitude and treatment of guests ultimately led us to leave early and walk away from our deposit. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this RV park to others.
