Well, if you need to stay in Cologne and need to be situated closely to the airport...this Ibis…read morewill certainly do the trick. It's not super special, nor a standout...but the city was packed for Dmexco so we made do. The room was small, but fine. The bathroom felt somewhat like that in an RV. It was clean, but tiny and felt...extremely utilitarian in nature. The breakfast is $10 and is not really worth it, but with very little options nearby...you'll probably opt for it like we did. Very near the Sbahn, which zips to downtown in about 15-20 minutes...so convenient and if you have an early/late flight it will certainly do for an easy night's sleep. The restaurant in the lobby is comfortable and outside of breakfast time has waiter service. We were able to perch for a bit upon our return and do some work, as all of the internet was out in the hotel...except in the restaurant. So, that's fun! Business crowd, travelers. It's a 3-star Yelp hotel, what more to say? :)

A great location with friendly staff in Cologne! We had a wonderful stay and within walking…read moredistance to the Cathedral and other attractions. We had two rooms that were conjoining and although pricey we enjoyed our time here. Parking was easy to navigate, the restaurant and bar had a nice selection for dinner, and the front desk staff was helpful. Both of our rooms felt clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if visiting the area!
