So I did, and took it home to set it up. The phone itself was just what I wanted, with not all the bells and whistles but still lots of fine features. It was $140, so affordable. After using it for a few days, I could never connect with 5G, only 4G (and it was very slow). I called AT&T customer service (not the store) and asked why this was happening. He said "I'll check our tower in Yuma." When he came back, he had really bad news. "AT&T does NOT have 5G service in Yuma." Verizon does, and I switched to them. I was told AT&T was "working on it." Yeah, right. And I'm the Easter bunny. I'm done with AT&T permanently. And I got a refund from Walmart.

Some of the sales people try and tell you that the insurance is required for the first month or that you're receiving a free accessory. This is not true. The insurance is not mandatory and you don't have to purchase an accessory. Be mindful of your purchase. It's ok to say no or ask questions. Their accessories are over priced. You can find the same ones at Walmart or Amazon.
