Then when I text you I don't receive a response but when I arrived to the store you're sitting right there looking at me not acknowledging me . Didn't even come up to me to ask what's wrong you sat there and acted as if your simple self didn't put the wrong promo and now making me owe att because now my service was interrupted. Now I don't know when the account will have the correct promo on it . Now my att service has been suspended because of her mistake and then get this I texted her again last week still no response. The male clerk was not interested in my business at all. he would not stop playing on his laptop while he was talking with me. He did stop picking his nose just as I arrived at his desk. I was in their store for over 2 hours and so many issues on their end with their devices. When I bought a new iPhone 13 I was finished with and phone didn't finish uploading and spent another two hours at home trying to figure phone out and with help from tec support figured it out the guy working with me and manager spent a lot of time in the back and then the guy helping me went to lunch and sent me some one else. Instead of making sure phone was set up and everything I was sent home unreal I have had Verizon since 2001! And never had an appointment sour till today the iPhone I got was $999 and expect more support and help than I got today and shouldn't have to spend 2 hours on my own trying to figure out what to do read more

Went to the store, and was lured away from AT&T by $1500 gift card incentives for 3 lines transferred - that were false information. The emplyee, Kevin, promised me $500 each line gift cards to switch from AT&T to Verizon, and then the codes did not work. When I went to the store I learned from another employee and manager, Mauro, that their employee did give me false information and they can not honor what their employee promised. So i switched from a company to a new company based on lies!!!! And they will not do anything but wave the activation fees!!! Ridiculous!!!! Do not go to this store, you will be promised things that are not correct, they will do whatever it takes to get you to a Verizon. And the manager will not do anything to help you after you find out the lies or hold his employees responsible for false advertising!!! read more

Wanted to upgrade my phone, shouldn't have come here. I walked in and looked around for a couple minutes, no kiosk to check in. Finally someone checked me in saying 20-25 min. Didn't even ask what I wanted. About 45 min later, someone found me and said they were sorry, but it would be another 10 min. 20 minutes after that, I left. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences Ive had in a while, when I went inside one of the workers told me it was going to be a couple minutes and they were going to text me to come back. After an hour of nothing I went back in and they ask me where I went . After that waited some more just for them to tell me they can't help me because the account was under a different name. He made my visit to the store, to exchange a device, a very smooth and seemless transaction. He had a very positive demeanor and made me feel like a valued customer. This is the worst Verizon I've ever been to they scammed me through a fake promotion. When I went to purchase a new phone on April 5, 2021, the worker who helped me named DAVID told me if I traded in my phone and got the iPhone 12, i would receive credit from the trade in and it would cover the cost of an apple watch. I was skeptical because my old phone was cracked so I told him I would get no money for the trade in, and it was also an old model: the 8 plus. David told me it didn't matter, I'd still get the trade in value of $441 despite the damages. Of course I jumped on this deal because it was basically a free watch. I originally wanted the iPhone 11 but he told me I needed to get the iPhone 12 to get the apple watch promotion. I did it and now two months later I'm being billed for both the iPhone 12 and the apple watch, $60 a month! The point of getting the 12 and the watch was to lower my monthly price, not double it! Called Verizon customer service and they said that was never a Verizon promotion. This worker is a scammer and scammed me out of my money. Never go to this place I hope this worker gets fired if I do not get compensated for this. I am 19 years old I do not make enough money for this!! Asshole, liar, scammer. After this, I will never do business with this specific store again, your workers who are supposed to be skilled are scamming people out of hundreds of dollars and for what benefit? It's not okay to try to contact a customer on a private number when they requested to not be contacted in what is supposed to be an anonymous survey that Verizon automatically sends. As a person who works in customer service I wasn't happy that I was told multiple times that it would be ten minutes, then fifteen minutes which turned into an hour to be passed onto a manager to complete my transaction. Run from this location and see the friendly staff on McLean Avenue instead. read more

The staff at this location is so horribly rude, dismissive and disrespectful that I really will never go back and I will tell everybody I know to not go here. Marjorie in sales has the worst attitude I have ever seen and she should NOT be working in any customer service position. Go work in a cubicle if you want to be mean and grumpy. My father (a senior citizen) was confused about our current plan and had questions about switching to a new plan. We have been loyal Verizon customers for the past 10 years and Marjorie just treated us like garbage for no reason whatsoever. She looked bored and miserable to begin with - no greeting, no warmth here. Welcome to Yonkers! My father and I kept calm as Marjorie sternly cut off just about any question or comment we had with her curt retorts. What put her in such a bad mood? After reading some of the Verizon reviews about your store I almost decided to go to NJ to upgrade my IPhone. I am so HAPPY that I decided to try anyway. I was told that the store had been completely upgraded including the employees and the management team. My experience on a scale of 1 - 10 was at least a 15! The courtesy of the staff was above average especially the expert that took care of us. NICOLETTE NUNEZ was exceptional. She knows her products, never rushed us or seemed distracted even though we kept her 45 minutes beyond the closing time of 7:00PM and on a Saturday. If fact, she asked us several times if there was anything else she could do. That is real 'customer service'. I even had the opportunity to meet the General Manager of the store, TREY COLEMAN. What a delight! It is obvious why this group will be successful under his leadership. Lastly, I called the store the next morning with my last question and Guillermo answered the phone and my question in one minute. No long litany of prompts. I am not a Verizon customer and I am glad I'm not! Everyone I've talked to who has had to deal with customer service, has nothing good to say about the service , and I have to agree. I came in to return a case, and I was told I had to wait 20 minutes for a return. Customers were waiting while staff was socializing. How hard is it to do a return? I used to work in retail and it does NOT take 20 minutes. In addition , it seems at this location , no one works. A employee came in and all the sales associates followed her into the back. This is absolutely disgusting. Finally when it was my turn, the sales associate who was ready, went to help a customer who already being helped by someone else. So instead of assisting me, he chose to ignore to follow the list. Finally someone came to help, and in 5 minutes, I was done. He then said to me, "wow that was quick." I replied, "yeah it's a shame i sat here for 25 minutes for this! I will never come her again OR shop at a Verizon dealer. read more

We recently purchased a phone for our daughter at the Cross County location, and the service rep -- a person named Said -- was great to work with. He couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I see from other reviews that some customers are unhappy with Verizon company policies, as distinct from this specific store's practices. Many of Verizon's company policies are, unfortunately, typical across most companies in the wireless phone industry. In these instances (as our family has learned from experience), patronizing another brand or store sadly does not improve the experience. Do yourself a favor, when it's time for a new phone just do everything online. My first time shopping here will also be last time shopping here. These people make up "promotions" and try to add all these "free" items on to your purchase, and then proceed to give you receipts with no items on them in the hopes you'll just shrug your shoulders or not realize that they just upcharged you hundreds without your consent. They also cleverly drag the sales out to the point that you'll do anything just to get out of there (I spent over 2 hours here when I came in knowing exactly which phone I wanted). I wish Verizon would look into this store (I'm sure they won't but I guess that's just me being realistic). Best part is when you bring back the "free" items and they're caught. They've perfected the ability to look and play dumb. And then they proceed to make you feel like the dumb one. Silly me, when I came in asking for the new Samsung Galaxy Edge, what I was really saying was please secretly charge me hundreds for some shitty tablet and wireless speaker I never asked for. I went to this location to PURCHASE a new phone and upgrade my contract for another two years. After the customer service i received there i will not be giving that store my business. When i told the sales man that i wanted an iphone 4S i was talked out of the product by him saying that it is a lesser product than a droid and a bad purchase idea because it's 'slow' because it is not 4G, its only 3G. I do not think that sales man should be under-selling their own product in their own store. I was then told that there was an additional $30 upgrade fee that was recently added in April 2012 AND that i would no longer have the unlimited data that i have now! He also went so far as to say 'just by looking at you i know you don't use that much data in a month, so you will be fine with the 2GB/mo'. I was insulted! How does he know what i use!! I then asked if i could purchase a battery for my Blackberry (the original is dying after 23 months) and was told 'no'. Since then i have found new ones online. To end this terrible experience i went over to the iphone display, picked one up that was attached to the wire and held it. The alarms in the store started going off and I was told that since i touched the phone i set them off. I then said, well why don't you move them so the people wanting to give you their business can look at them and was told that if they did that they would miss the foot traffic passing the window.
