    Review #510 March…read more31, 2025 First, let My total Review here reflect from previous visits and photos when this location opened in April 20. 2021. Then on August 17, 2024 I was quoted updated amounts for triple play package plus a new service package with deleting my home phone. Those two visits were attentive by appointment and my questions answered with reasonable prices. Looking at several other reviews for this location noted 1 or 2 stars. I guess those customers don't have patience and probably walked in without an appointment expecting a 30 minute or less visit. There's also 10-12 employees working here so this location is Not short staffed weekdays or weekends. I agree with Paula M. Yelper who left a nice 5 star review plus I will as well. Recently on March 21, I made an appointment 5 days in advance for a new cell phone and changed my service from AT & T to a better rate and coverage with Xfinity By Comcast Plus again as I do every renewal, Lowered my cable monthly bill. Upon walking in 15 minutes before my appointment time I was greeted by a customer service check-in rep. She checked my name off her list and pointed where I should sit in the area of cell phones till my name was called. I used my stopwatch on my cell phone and after 12 minutes my name was called to start the process. My new Samsung S24 FE had only 3 colors of choice in which I picked sky blue, although its covered up now with a fashion slim case of royal blue. :-) My old carrier AT & T service was cancelled by the customer service rep on the phone promptly while my new and old cell phone were making them transfer. I noticed this location was busy on a Friday but not extremely like on a Saturday. The total time according to my stopwatch for a cell phone purchase, service change and testing my new phone was 52 minutes. I was pleased and felt the time for this whole process went very smooth and effective thanks to a sharp, knowledgeable and helpful guy. I'll have to track down my paperwork and his unique name. This location provides services such as Internet, Television and Security Systems, Security Monitoring and Repairs. Since April & October 2021 visits then My current March 21, 2025.. I can post My 5 Star Experience Review! BTW: My fast internet speed, three cable televisions plus My cell phone coverage work great. I was charged $800 for a 45 bill because they put in the wrong information on my account, took my money then deleted my information from their system to cover it up. My mom kept getting outstanding overage charges when she has unlimited and lied to her about being in a contract when she's only month to month. While trying to cancel her service Verizon charged her $10 to talk to a human on the phone instead of a computer 3 separate times and dropped the call charging her a little over $30 for literally nothing. I went here 3 times before I reached someone that acted like they gave a damn about my need to purchase a new phone and they actually had some knowledge about the products they were selling. He was friendly and actually communicated very well. For many of us, purchasing a new phone is stressful and my retail sales rep. this time was able to handle my stress. Each time I like to try a new type of phone so this time I purchased the iPhone X. The process was long, expensive and draining. I was sold things I did not need and in my stressful state I thought I was getting a deal...I was not. Thankfully, I stopped my purchase of $180.00 ear buds! I thought my phone required these wireless earbuds due to the type of phone I was buying. Holy crap, who has the money for $180 ear buds? I was also told I had to buy the $13.00 monthly warranty coverage. I was so exhausted I kept the coverage but have written myself a note to cancel it as soon as possible. Upside, I've had the new iPhone X for one week and I absolutely love it! Upside, my knowledgeable, patient, yet somewhat pushy sales guy did a great job of setting me up before I left the store.

    This has got to be the worst T-Mobile store I have ever been to. I went with a friend who just…read morewanted to get his email working, and the next thing I know he has ordered a new phone to be shipped. Once the phone came in it had a different phone number and he had to go to the store and have everything fixed. At some point my friend said he wanted his data transferred over and the employee seemed surprised. Isn't that just standard nowadays?? Anyways, we wasted so much time there and then he promised that everything would work good within 2 weeks??!! How weird is that? I got a new phone at a Berkley location a year ago and everything was transferred over and working on my new phone that was in the store within 30 minutes!! Like I said - this is absolutely the worst store.

My wife added me as an authorized user on March 28th and yet the store personnel insisted they couldn't talk to me about the account. I had a copy of my bill with all the account information and the only thing I wanted to know was how much it would cost to upgrade both our phones from the Iphone13 to the Iphone17. I was told to add the T-Mobile app to my existing phone and then I could see the latest phone deals. Just exactly why do I need to load another app on my phone when I'm at the T-Mobil store asking a simple question. When I finally added the app they put me through absolute misery by insisting I answer endless questions about power of attorney, etc. The Indian woman at the T-Mobil store I went to was extremely useless and unbelievably unhelpful! For instance, she asked me about the condition of my current phone and whether it had any visible damage or cracks. I had the phone right in front of her to inspect and she still pestered me with these type of absurd questions. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Shelby Township T-Mobile store at all costs!
