They fixed it again saying the battery came disconnected. Ok , fixed. Then it kept coming disconnected several times after , now ive had this phone for years been dropped from short and long distance several times never broke the screen nor did the "BATTERY" EVER come loose or "DISCONNECTED" , yet some how the battery keeps disconnecting WITHOUT being dropped. So i told them if you have to SUPERGLUE the battery in i dont want it to "DISCONNECT" ever again from the SLIGHTEST movement. Non the less this was the like 5th time in for the same exact issue they said it was good this time and next time id be charged i said ok hope y'all SUPERGLUED it they said they got it good this time. Ok. Lone behold ONE HOUR after the Daumn thing went again when just picking it up out of my council!!!! REALLY??? Had to go buy a new one that i couldnt afford being on FIXED income after paying over $100 to "fix/replace" battery and screen that at SLIGHTEST touch goes dead. Was willing to give highest rating at first for fast repair and glad to have my phone back with great service till the same issue kept reoccurring over n over. Now i give a NEGATIVE 5* and will get service done elsewhere. Hope others have better service than i got at CPR in Cedar Falls, iowa.

I went in on a Saturday, I made an appointment for 12:30 but I ended up in town earlier, almost an hour earlier, so I showed up. They were happy to assist me earlier. All I needed was my phone screen repaired. Nothing extreme, probably the most basic repair they do. They were among the cheaper I found which is why I choose this place and not somewhere else. So I was waiting around for my phone to be fixed, I dont know my way around town so I just waited in the store. It took about an hour, which is what they told me it would be. When it was done, I paid, asked about the warranty, and left, I was happy, my phone looked nice. Everything was perfect! Then, when I got to my car, I noticed the problems. I first noticed that the home button was very wiggly and I could move it around. The other thing is that the fingerprint reader on the home button didn't work. Ok so I took it back into the store and was like what's up with this.. and here's when it gets to be unpleasant. First they took off the plastic covering and was like you have to take this off (there was no covering on the home button, so it should have not been a problem). Then I showed them it still didn't work, and then the guy try's to show me how to add a finger print to my unlock setting, (which I already tried ). So I played along and showed him it still didn't work. Then they start telling me that the button isn't wiggly, so I showed them. Then the guy goes, well you broke your phone, this is what happens when you brake you're phone. So I remind him that these issues were not present when I brought the phone into be fixed. Then, he proceeded to tell me "well you shouldn't expect a new phone after you brake it". That annoyed me, so I replied "I wasn't expecting a new phone by any means, I was expecting to get my screen fixed, not have something else brake due to fixing that". Then he goes "didn't anybody tell you this could happen". So I told him "they asked me if my phone was backed up to the cloud, they didn't tell me that another a different external part was in risk of becoming broken". Then the guy goes well that's just how it is. There was other rude things said by the guy as well, and he never took it back to the repair guy to even be looked at, he turned on that button thing that you can put on your screen if the home button doesn't work and told me to use that. Which is not even remotely close to the problem that I was having. So in conclusion, don't go here unless you want them to fix one thing just to break another and make you feel like it's your fault. I wish I would have just paid the $50 extra to get it fixed somewhere else and have higher quality results.

Entered 41st and Western for some help to activate my phone, couldn't help me, 41st and Kiwanis, couldn't help me, 41st and W Empire (Main store & Managers) couldn't help me, at this point I was getting frustrated with Verizon, they redirected me to go to ANOTHER store... found the last store on the street and praise to the people working 6/5/24. 41st and S Westport! I have to give it to them. New lady and New guy with experienced manager. They all did their part in helping me activate my new phone! $1500 phone at that. I had told them my experience with the other stores. They were very unhappy, especially at the "main store." Again let me state this.. NEW EMPLOYEE'S. This Lady helped me the best she possibly could. She got me as far as customer service on the phone, Which the guy made us call Emergency SOS!! Very unprofessional. Hung up on him and started over. So new customer service lady answers, We had to tell her what happened with the last guy on the phone because he got us nowhere. She got us right to the point, activated my phone! Again praise to the New lady at 41st and S Westport. She did an amazing job! Helped me with ease and got me out of the store with a smile! Great service from those 3! I will definitely return. If I were able to rate the other stores would give them negative rating with a waste of my time. Thank you!

    Horrible experience. Will never return. Sold us a "new" iPhone. Got home and realized it had a…read moreknock-off, non-apple charger and headphones. The knock off charger did not work and the headphones were broken. Both were not original Apple products. Went and talked to a representative and she was very rude and not helpful. Gave us a loaner charger until we could return the iPhone. Loner charger was also a knock off and did not work. Returned the next day and tried to return iPhone and they argued and told us it was a new phone just the accessories "slipped into the box". The manager was rude, argued with us multiple times and was suggested we go to the other Cellular One location to exchange the phone. He argued and became angry with us. The employee from the night before who talked to us was also rude, adding unnecessary comments to our conversation. Finally let us exchange the iPhone for a new one where we could watch them open the box, meaning it was new. Gave us a screen protector and car charger for free, but the damage was done. Sour taste! The employees and manager were just rude and argumentative. Will not return and will be telling all my friends and coworkers about this issue. Already reported them to corporate Verizon Wireless and to BBB.

If anyone in their leadership reads these reviews I hope they take notice of why many people are unhappy. I will be the first to say I absolutely love this store and the products they offer. I'm a total electronics and gadget nerd. I could probably live there. The problem isn't with the products offered. They are high quality. Yeah some things are pricey but if a customer doesn't have enough sense to not buy the platinum engraved $34 HDMI cord when you can get one from eBay for $3.99 don't blame the store, do your research people! Leadership listen up! The problem with your store is the customer service/experience. I don't know what it is, but the employees are not good at reading your customer base. Often times I am left waiting in an area for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged if I have any sort of question. Last December I wanted to purchase remote start for my car. I went to Best Buy and found many options. I waited for 15 minutes just waiting for someone to basically convince me to spend $500 on something I wanted, but had questions over. It would have been a slam dunk sale. I was ready to go, had the money, and was willing to fork it over that day. Not a single person offered assistance that day and I left with no money spent. That lack of customer acknowledgement lost a sale and irritated a loyal customer. Now I haven't been treated rudely by any staff and have at times received great service. However, there have been far too many times where I have been completely ignored and not felt valued. If you can fix this you easily have 5 stars from me and probably many other happy customers. I'll still come back, but it's because I know what I'm looking for I can get in get out pretty quick. Value and acknowledge your customers because it doesn't long for a loyal person to find other options!
