Compelled to write this review based on the lack of customer service. I've been to this location several times in the past and the one thing that sticks out is the lack of customer service. It's always busy and I understand they work on a first come first serve basis; However, a simple "Hey, we'll be right there with you man." Or "Hey, have you been helped" would be appreciated. Instead I'm just standing here for over 10 minutes with none of the employees acknowledging me and I've counted a total of 3 of them on a Saturday evening at 5:15pm. The DMV is a place no one likes to be if they don't have to, if you've got Verizon, I think it's safe to say THIS particular Verizon store would come in second place as places you don't want to be if you don't have to be. Shout out to sales associate, Angel, and Manager, Jesus, for helping me to get my new phone setup tonight. For some reason the phone wouldn't easily activate and then the billing was hanging up in the Verizon system and Angel had to call with customer service and be transferred around to try and solve the issues. Jesus was incredibly supportive to the situation while bouncing between customers and sales associates too. FINALLY, he was able to reach a customer service rep who could help and we got the deal done. Horrible Customer service. Do yourself a favor and Do Not SHOP HERE! Go to a Corporate Verizon store. The workers are incompetent and messed up the transfer of two phones and porting in numbers. They informed me they were waiving the fees and giving me a bunch of accessories, then I was charged for all of it and had to call Verizon to waive the fees. Verizon told me to go in and talk to them since they have the receipt and they refused to let me return the phone well within the return period then kicked me out of the store. read more

If you get Eric as your employee ask for somebody else he does not know what he's doing and is he is completely rude. The guy couldn't put on a screen protector properly he couldn't explain any of the plans and he is just a very bad employee with very bad customer service I would never ever go in to that Verizon if you have a chance to go somewhere else. read more

I had the worst experience here. I did an online trade in and selected to pick my new phone up at this store. I placed the order on a Friday and went to pick up the phone on Monday since I didn't have time over the weekend. I never received any email that it would be cancelled, just a reminder to pick it up. When I went on Monday, they got the phone, found my order, but then suddenly back tracked and said that they couldn't process it because it had been cancelled on their end even though they had just found it and even gotten the device from the back room. I showed that my order was still active online and I got a stare and a blank shrug. In particular the employee named Jesus was incredibly unhelpful, gave almost no information and the other customers he was working with seemed really unhappy too. He couldn't describe at all what was going on and seemed like he just flat out didn't care about helping anyone at all. The associates here are clueless and unprofessional. I will never go to this store again and I'm working on filing a complaint against the store because they clearly don't know how to handle customer service. read more

Upgraded my granddaughters iPhone to a 16 and with it came a free iPad. The iPad was not in stock so it was ordered and the store was to call when it arrived. I called a week later still no iPad. Finally I went to the store to check and was told they have been calling me but no response so they sold it. I have no record of the call or voice mail so I asked them if they had one but different color which they responded they only hold orders 3 weeks and I was out of luck. I upgraded to a 16 with the understanding I would also get an iPad and now they will not honor the sale. What a ripoff!!! read more

Got there for a 2pm appointment.I was on time even early. Wasn't greeted when I came in. Was about 30min till I was even acknowledged. Then when some guy finally showed up. I told him I already checked in for my appointment. He look puzzled and basically told me appointment don't matter there. So save your time making appointments folks. They dont honor them and don't care. I then explained and he laid out two options. Neither of which he explained or went into detail with. I had to ask questions and it was like pulling teeth. I don't know if he was incompetent or just didn't care,probably both. I was rushed out and nothing I needed was accomplished. Complete waste of time, horrible customer service. Do not go to this Verizon store! My husband and I were conned into getting a "free promotional item" which we later found was not free at all. Also, we were sold phone lines we didn't need. This is a Verizon franchise store. The manager there was not open and honest about his products and service. 11-24-21 at 6:25 PM I went in to get a new SIM card. The instant I walked in a lady told me they were going to lunch and they were closing for an hour and to come back then. I really needed the SIM card, so I had to cancel my dinner plans so I could wait in the parking lot. Then they posted a sign on the door saying they'll be back at 7:45 PM (pic included in this review). So and hour and twenty minutes. I understand we all need breaks--and to eat--but there were at least two people there and this was during their business hours. For a multi-billion dollar corporation, it seems kind of unprofessional. I'm not trying to whine too much, and maybe it's my hunger talking, but still... But wait, it even gets better. I went back at 7:45 and they poked their head though the still-locked door and tell me they're closed now. The lady who told me they were taking lunch told me they were open until 9 tonight. I am do not have a big company, but we have nine lines in total with Verizon, and they're all heading to AT&T. I can understand and accept the inconveniences and unexpected, but the lies are tough to fathom. read more

Chris was awesome on Christmas Eve. Went in my guys phone had been acting up bad. He decided to upgrade. Chris asked if we wanted to add my line to his and looked into it and priced it out. But we decided against it for now. Only thing he didn't ask me out right if I wanted to upgrade or if I was even a Verizon customer. He was super polite. Made easy conversation with and never made us feel like we were keeping them from closing or running out of the store. Which was nice. Also made sure we were able to make calls and get the backup from the cloud to start restoring everything to how it was on the old device before it went wonky. Chris is definitely who you want to work with at this Verizon authorized dealer location. When I finally decide on upgrading I will be going to see him as I feel like a valued customer even though I was not the one helped that evening. read more

We arrived at 7:30 when they still had a 1/2 hr until they were closed and they sent my son away. They said come back tomorrow we don't have time for you. There were still people in the store being helped but my son was sent away. I feel that was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I have given that location lots of business. I recently left AT&T after years & came to Verizon. My first two weeks were not a good experience. **I was calling around trying to find an iPhone 7 or 8. I finally found one here but then I got sick for a couple days. When I called back a young man told me I was out of luck. I remembered I originally talk to young lady named Toni. So I called back and asked for her. **Not only did Toni get me the phone I needed, But she went above and beyond created me a new iCloud account which I needed and set the phone up. She also got me one of those really expensive face plates, I don't know what they're called, Protect my new iPhone X something or other. I have a three-year-old that requires me to go the extra mile to protect my stuff. Especially my phone. **I would like to say that while I was there. An older couple happen to be in there complaining about the fact that they could not pay cash for their bill or something weird like that- that had nothing to do with the employees in the store. The young man that was dealing with them was at a loss for words. So Toni went over there and explained things. I felt so bad for these employees at that moment. Getting totally reamed for something they had no control over. She handled it well. Way better than I would have. **I'm happy I went here. I was having a really bad day. I already tried going to the one by Walmart and the people there were lacking in customer service. Of course I guess it's hard to find good customer service these days. So when you do find it. This store totally scammed me into getting a business account for my residential internet service. A few months later I received a bill for $5,000. Apparently it was for going over my usage limit for streaming. We had recently canceled our cable because we all know cable is astronomically expensive. So we were streaming a lot more than normal. So before this, I had a verizon cell phone for 3 years. If my cell phone bill ever got up to $300 or more, they would shut my service off. So I think anyone, including the judge,( I plan on taking this to court), would agree that this seems a little shady. If I have two verizon accounts, let's say A and B. If A racks up $300 the service is temporarily shut off. But B was able to somehow rack up $5,000. Criminal stuff in my opinion. Let me clarify that my main argument isn't that the service wasn't shut off, but the fact that somehow 3 months of internet ever got up to $5,000. When I called customer service to discuss this I was transferred back and forth from the business division to the residential division. Nobody knows where to connect me. Apparently verizon customers have an account pin an account pass code. One of them is needed to verify identity. I wasn't sure if i remembered the number but I was able to discuss things with customer service. Then the following day, I was asked to give my pin, account code, whatever it's called but I gave the wrong number so they wouldn't discuss anything with me further until I changed my account pin. Weird because I discussed plenty the day prior. In order to change my pin, I would have to go to a corporate verizon store. Basically only certain stores are able to change account pin numbers. There is one about 15 miles from my house. Basically I'm not gonna pay this bill. I will change my pin so I can tell them this. Then I will take them to small claims court. So in the meantime I decided to go to doors down to xfinity and signed up for cell service, basic cable and Internet. 1000 gigs or whatever the current measurement is. $85 a month for the cable and internet, $80 for the cell service, and payments on a new phone. My advice would be to never get verizon home internet, it's a scam. I wouldn't get Verizon anything. Xfinity is awesome. But if you must get Verizon, do not go to the Rohnert Park location on Commerce blvd. They are millennial's mostly. Scammers. They don't care about the customers, they just want their cheesy little commission, at their cheesy little jobs. So they can buy video games, or money to take their boyfriends to a Cher concert. I became very irritated with this Verizon location when I discovered how little they are authorized to do for actual Verizon customers. They get little to no support from corporate stores. While the individuals who work there seem familiar with the products they can't perform complicated tasks for actual Verizon subscribers. I was told that they don't get much help from the corporate store in downtown Santa Rosa. They upset two customers on the day I was there, me and a lady that had driven from San Francisco after purchasing a phone. She was obviously disabled and couldn't get around easily. They told her that her only recourse was to go to the corporate store in Santa Rosa. She didn't like that answer. I, as well, was turned away without satisfaction. If Verizon is going to have 3rd party store fronts representing them they need to give them more tools to use in solving customers problems. I finally got my problem solved on-line. read more

After waiting an hour to talk to someone in the store the represtitives told me to take the phone to another store returns. From my perception, the workers just didnt want to help me out. Went in last week to switch from Sprint to Verizon. The first person I spoke with was not so pleasant but the second time I came in the other employee made my experience 100000 times better! After having a faulty iPhone, I went in to get it diagnosed and turned I needed a whole new phone after just pursuing the day before. I was there for about two hours which wasn't fun but Erick made the two hours FLY BY which was AWESOME! My sister went to this store to ask if they could fix a problem with her phone that was on Facebook. They told they couldn't fix in because it was of security on Facebook privacy. So they sold her a new phone which she didn't want .She felt like she was pressured and she has learning disabilities and she couldn't remember her password on Facebook they made up one and got into her account. And fixed the problem that was her question from the beginning after she purchased the phone ..So she's returning the phone hopefully they will refund her..I feel she taken advantage of because she has learning disabilities... read more

Hidden fees that are not discussed at the time of service, but are magically on your receipt later. Seriously? After being told that I have to pay only tax and a setup fee and everything else is on the Verizon bill, then to see another $20 "setup" charge? Lame and misleading..... actually, more than misleading. An outright lie. And a manager unwilling to do anything about it. Also showed up to find that they had the device I ordered a week prior in stock, but, even though I was the first to order it, I couldn't get it because it was reserves for someone who was going to buy other products in addition to the new phone. Attempted to upgrade myself to the iPhone 8+ today and got to work with Christian Perez. Throughout the whole transaction, Christian was very kind and helpful. When I first asked for the 8+ he said they only had it in 64GB but offered to check the back. He comes back 10 minutes later with the 256GB in "Rose Gold" - which now that I'm thinking about it, I don't even know if it was the right phone. The 8+ doesn't come in Rose Gold, so either he got the color wrong or was about to sell me a 7+, I'm not sure because I didn't get a good look at the box. Either way, he searched. When it came to start the upgrade process, there was this odd glitch that showed I owed the remaining balance on my current phone, which was wrong. So he called Customer Service and got it sorted out. Great, we're getting somewhere. He scans the new device, shows me what my monthly bill will be, says I'll owe a $30 activation fee, standard stuff. It goes bad when I ask about buying a cheapo case to hold me over until I buy the one I actually want. He tells me "don't worry, we'll get you set up with a case, screen protector, water protection, and an alternate charging solution". This sounded like a lot so I asked if it would cost extra and he gave me a figure of about $220 out the door. I was shocked, I wasn't planning on spending that, I just wanted to upgrade my phone. That's when he hit me with it. "I can't let you leave without that bundle" Can't let me leave without it? You're requiring me to spend $220 on shit I don't want or need? He said he could ask his manager but would probably get a no if he asked to let me leave with just a phone. No. No thank you. I left. I'll trying Best Buy tonight, and if that doesn't work, I'll upgrade online and pa the $80 on taxes and shipping. If I can upgrade online and decline the extras, why am I being extorted in-store? read more

The worst experience possible...not once but on 3 separate occasions. Steer clear of this particular Verizon retailer. A very new sales salesperson was personable and friendly. The more experienced sales person was rude and arrogant and spoke to me like an angry father. I am a long-time customer of Verizon nearly ended my service with them due to the representation of these associates. The manager was worst if all. When asked me "what my problem was" I invited him to call my office and speak to me personally away from his associates and out of the store where other customers would not be involved. He then proceeded to throw my card in the garbage in front of me. As a business owner I'm sure he was showing off for his employees. And also as a business owner I would terminate this employee for that action in one second. If you have an Apple device, go directly to Apple stores. You will get the same products for the same price without the bad attitude. The management model of this particular retailer reflects more of a high school locker room atmosphere rather than a national Tele-Communications brand. read more

She went above and beyond to help us because I was clueless to how hard it was to switch servers and retain an old telephone number. No one at AT&T told me what I was in for after spending AN HOUR on the phone with them but they did let me suffer the disaster of canceling her number before Verizon could take over. They could not service my mother in law at the new address so the least they could have done was guide me in the process I was forced to undertake. Toni was a life saver and helped me throughout the entire two week process and behaved as if she was my own daughter helping her grandmother! read more

Was just in the store to get a new Sim card for my girlfriends phone. Walk in to people are sitting at a table one customer at the counter who is talking to a employee other employee was just sitting behind the counter at a computer, and told me it would be about 10 minutes. I was OK with that. Employee that was done with the woman at the counter he came up to help me I told him that I wanted a Sim card for my girlfriends phone. He said OK but she has come in to active it or she would have to call corporate. The way that he enunciated calling corporate was as though it was he was losing something. He said it was going to be $10. I said ok. He headed back and as he got to the door the other employee said he had to call "tony?" I think that was the name said. After about two minutes he comes back out and says he can't sell me a SIM card but if your girlfriend wants to come in they will activate the new card. So you won't sell me a SIM card because you say you can't sell just the SIM card but if she comes in then you can sell one. I had a great experience with this store in the past. Now I'm seeing that they can't keep good people employed and have them so scared for their jobs and making sure they have their sales numbers up and their commission sales up or they are fired.
