I randomly walked in off the street and they accepted me on a busy Saturday afternoon with open arms. The helped me with my grandmother's rings I inherited after she passed away. I chose not to sell them but instead have them sized to fit me. They took their time explaining my options and helping me with the best fit. They made me feel at ease and didn't rush me through the process. I brought all of her old paperwork from Meyer's jewelers from 37 years ago and the owner Terry was familiar with the people who sold my grandmother her rings back in the 80s. They would even call to let me know when something arrived. A very friendly family feel. They even let one of the ladies behind the window bring her infant in so she could keep working. Then New owners bought the place about a year ago and the place quickly went down hill... -The cost of the mail box doubled over the pervious year. -The cost of money orders tripled. -After the price of the money orders went up there was a problem and they weren't doing money orders anymore. They kept saying next month, next month... this has been going on for a solid 6 months now. -They would randomly not be open durning business hours or close early. -A constant shuffle of new faces behind the glass. Definitely not a good sign because they can't keep employees. -They went on a reduced schedule during the Covid thing but aren't open during the new posted hours & days. -They don't have a voicemail to leave a message regarding your frustrations or even figure out if they will be open.
