    Very frustrated with the management at the MyBullfrog Verizon store. I opened an account for myself…read moreand my wife when we moved to Pocatello last year, and we each bought a new iPhone through the Verizon store. About a month later, her work gave her a new iPhone and was going to pay her cell phone bill, so I went in to cancel her line with Verizon. The cancellation fee was $380. But a couple weeks later I got a call saying we had to GIVE BACK her iPhone, which we had paid for. Now I understand it was part of the contract, but it was in the very fine print that nobody ever reads. I felt we were being taken advantage of with shady business practices, so I went in to talk to the manager. He told me he would talk to the corporate office on my behalf and see if they could waive the mandatory return of the phone I had paid for. But he took the phone anyway. After that, I never heard from him again. After several emails and phone calls were never returned, I was obviously frustrated and annoyed with the lack of communication, not to mention that by cancelling my service one month after starting it, it cost me $680 between the cancellation fee and the phone I had to simply give back after I bought it. Like I said, I understand it's part of the contract I signed, but I feel the fees were exhorbitant and the communication with the management was misleading. I'm sure the manager never talked to the corporate office for me, and just ignored me after he got the phone I returned. Shady business practices and terrible management earn them a 1 star review from me.

    If you are switching to Verizon, be aware this is not a direct Verizon retailer. This store will…read morecharge you a $19.95 set up fee per line you activate. The set up fee is not the activation fee which is another $30 per line. This fee is not charged if you go through Verizons corporate office (in Pocatello) or online at Verizonwireless.com. When I talked to Verizon directly, they had no idea what the setup fee was. We were charged a total of $100 for a set up fee(one phone was not even taken out of the box) They will not tell you about this additional fee. We found out when we looked over the bill. We thought the fee was the activation fee. When we discovered it was not the activation fee we contacted the store immediately. We were given the run around for several days and finally talked to the manager who refused to do anything about it. When my husband became upset, he laughed at him. Who does that?!? Terrible customer service. Apparently they feel like they deserve $100 for doing what Verizon will do for free. We did a lot of research before we came into the store and knew exactly what we wanted. The sales rep (who was supposed to add $100 of value to the experience)could answer very few of our questions about our Verizon plan. The ones she did answer, we later found out were incorrect. She couldn't even type in the correct numbers to be imported or the account number of our former provider. We had to set that up when we got home. She didn't transfer any of our data, but downloaded an app that never worked. She was very quick to grab the phones out of hands so she could download an app to get credit for the sale. She only seemed well trained on trying to upsale us. She tried to sell us $60 screen protectors?!?(I guess they were discounted from $80). Please don't fall for the upsale. I got a fantastic case that protects both the front and back of my phone from Amazon for $16. To be fair, the manager did call later and offer a few of the over priced screen protector. No Thanks!! I feel like they just reached in my wallet and stole $100 and there is nothing I can do about it. I have tried to contact their customer service and tried to contact the area manager with no response other than a canned email. They do not care about their customers. My advice is to go to a corporate Verizon store or go online. They really are helpful online and you will not end up paying extra nonsense fees.

    This company is full of crooks and liars. Their managers and corporate office would not return…read morephone calls and even after getting the BBB involved they still will not return calls. Have been dealing with them since August of 2018 trying to get $1300 returned to us. The product was returned to them after their sales associate lied to us about a deal they had on Ipads. They were asked numerous times if there was a catch to the deal and we were told no. After we received our first bill from verizon we found out the truth. We were being charged line access and cellular fees on 4 ipads. The sales associate never said this. We were past the 14 day return window, but when we talked to Verizon they said to return them. 6 months later and we still have not received our refund because not a single person from gowireless will return our call.
