When we went in to the store, I was told that one of the phones wouldn't even work anymore and that we'd have to by a 'new' phone for that line. Then they said I would have to upgrade my plan, which would obviously cost more. It told them that the 'several messages' I had received didn't say anything about additional costs or buying phones. So, I decided to go to T-Mobile. When they went to switch my account for my phone to T-Mobile account, the rep said "Your phone is locked by Boost". ??? My phone was paid for in cash 3 years prior!!! So I went back to the Boost store and said "I want the lock off my phone! I didn't even know there was a lock on it and I was never told there was one!". They said it would be 3 days! Just to unlock the phone!!! It took them 3 days. Also during this process, I found out that I had been paying for 3G service!!! I was told it was 4G. Disgusted all the way around!!!!

I had to call 4 times, then eventually lie and tell them a tree was being cut down which may damage the wire junction on the telephone pole out back. I don't feel great about what I did, but we aren't talking about feelings now are we Beverly.

The application can be found online you can apply online as well as upload documentation needed. I believe it's only for internet services. But, it's like $10 a month for internet if you qualify. With no installation fee or anything. Xfinity has a similar program called Internet Essentials. If you live in subsidized housing, or your kids get free lunches you qualify. I found out about these programs by chance after getting connected with at&t & incurring an installation fee of $99 and a $67 bill for the worst 10 days of service I've ever experienced. Even though they approved me today through AT&T for Access program they will not take away the installation fee & will be trying to make me pay the bill for that 10 days of service..even though I had constant issues with buffering, lost connections, underperforming of internet to be able to watch tv on tv with Roku built in. Not to mention that there was a tech out to try and fix the issues 3 out of the 10 days I had service.....which they never fixed. I was on the phone with them much the other days. Xfinity has a program called internet Essentials. You can get internet for 9.99..at a lot faster speed than at&t. And you can apply over the phone. It took the two months of phone tag to even get someone out to my location. Then when they were there I was told they would call me with an answer one way or the other the following week by the employee. Never received another phone call from them at all. I tried calling another time the employee who gave me his number at the time, with no response to my left message. Called office again and lady in office was basically clueless and helpless to my situation. I moved on and view it as if they can't provide better customer service than that I'm probably better off.

I can host online video games thru my ps3... No issues!! I get the speeds i am promised!! And there is no contract fees. Frontier and mediacom.. ARE GARBAGE!!
