Wanted to upgrade my phone and get wireless internet in my apartment. The phone upgrade went seamless, however I will never purchase wireless internet again, or at least from Verizon if I can helpfor these reasons: 1) Got the wireless router: Verizon internet gateway 2) After trying to set it up, it malfunctioned. There was a blinking red Wi-Fi symbol. (Chalked up to be a hardware issue by technical support). 3) I was on the phone with technical support for about 2 and a half hours doing everything from having the support representative remote access my phone's camera to talk me through various steps to troubleshoot the issue. After 2 1/2 hours I was just told to return it to the store. 4) When I get to the store the next day I am told that I am not supposed to return it there but I am then told to return it to a UPS store after getting a shipping label online/Verizon App when I cancel. Phone wait times and my patience were drying up -- so I went into the store to ask for help to which I was told that UPS will know what to do with it: no label needed, just that I would need to make sure to disconnect the line. !!) It was omitted from technical support to return it to UPS !!) Associates in store are unclear of current specific return/exchange procedures. !!) Associates were more focused on returning hardware than the main issue: the customer needs WiFi! Nothing was said about setting up a new router/line i.e getting the product/service I am trying to spend money on. Solution: Same but new hardware/different line, different store. Thank you Chris from Gambrills, understood the situation and presented a clear solution. The slowest customer service ever. Either they're under staffed or the employees are just slow, I don't know. But this is ridiculous. Don't come here unless you like waiting at LEAST an hour if not more. Just for a simple thing. read more

I came in not expecting to walk out with a new phone but I ended up upgrading my iPhone from an 8 to a 13. The sales rep Alex was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. He made the whole process smooth and non stressful. I appreciate his great customer service skills and will be sure to come back to this location for my phone needs. read more

Wow ok so I went here with a friend who needed with a lost phone. I am a dedicated AT&T customer so this was a hard trip for me as it was. We went to walk into the front door and there was a dead bird laying in front of the door. As soon as I walked in I told one of the workers and they were like oh yeah it flew into the window earlier and died. I was like well yeah I can understand that, the thing I dont underxtand is why you left it in front of your store for customers to have to see and walk over! Not to dimihish the Verizon brand here, but I mean come on. Common sense says to move the bird out of the way of your customers. SO after I harped on the issue they kicked the bird out of the way. I went to tell them that they are now cursed, because a bird flying into your window and dying is bad luck. Oh the customner service for my friend was good though. read more

This has to be the worst service I have ever come across- I walk in and there are only two sales reps and no one even acknowledges that there are four other people waiting for service! No "hello, be there in a minute." Or a sign-in to prove place in line and time left. I waited more than half an hour and then the representative took a costumer who walked in 15 minutes after me! I finally decided to replace my iPhone 5S and purchase the new SE2020. I first contacted the store with a million questions since I'm not very tech savvy. After chatting with the person on the phone, having answered all my questions patiently and professionally, I went to the store to buy my new phone ! I received amazing customer service !! They are very detailed, thorough and knowledgeable. Saved me lots of money and I walked out the door with my new phone completely set up and ready to go. Look, shopping for phones can suck and it usually falls back on the salesperson. Today, I worked with Brittany and she helped me upgrade my phone to a new iPhone. Despite all of the bad reviews in Yelp (I'm sure some are founded) Brittany was a diamond in the rough. She greeted me at the door and was an absolute professional (and a joy) from start to finish. She helped me get a great deal (honestly, I would have paid full price, she's that good) and helped erase the memories of every other bad cell phone buying experience I've had. I get that tensions are high when sales and phones and money are involved. 99.9% of my experiences with Verizon sales have not been that fun. That being said, Brittany was the .1% and I do think it's important to compliment employees that go above and beyond. If you have to go to this store, hope and pray you get Brittany. My wife dropped her iPhone and we took it to this store to see if it could be repaired. Gavin assisted us and laid out the options of repair and the cost. Since we were due for upgrades, he also gave us options on a new phone as well. After working his magic with Verizon, I was able to get my wife a newer iPhone at the same cost of my current plan. Since she hadn't backed up her phone in a while, he set up the backup of over 3gigs of data and kept checking on it for us until after the store closed. Since we could set up the phone that evening without the backup in place, he set up time for me to meet with his associate, Marcus, who finished the installation and got my wife's cellphone operational. Thanks to these two gentlemen, we found a new favorite store. read more

Rude salespeople. Lacked interest, sat the entire time and stared awkwardly while I was there.

We've had so many issues with this store I don't even know where to begin. First of all all the employees working here rotate between like 20 something different stores so each time we've had to come back to this store we've spoken to different people... It all started when my husband wanted to upgrade. He went from the iPhone 6 to the LGG5, the very next day he changed his mind and decided he wanted to stick with the iPhone and upgrade to the 7 plus. So we went back to this same store to try and return the LGG5 and order the iPhone 7 plus because they had been back ordered at this point. The store told us they couldn't take the LGG5 back until the iPhone 7 showed up to swap them. But he was still using his original iPhone 6, not using the LGG5 at all. The iPhone 6 was supposed to be shipped back to Verizon but because he was still using it he never sent it back and this store told us that would be okay. They told us that Verizon wouldn't charge us for the remaining balance of the iPhone 6 yet because they weren't expecting it to be returned yet because they knew we were waiting on the iPhone 7 to show up before we could exchange everything. Well surprise, Verizon tried to charge us and added $400 to our phone bill. We didn't pay it, but it was another hassle that I had to call the Verizon 800 number about and when I explained to them what this store did she said "they definitely shouldn't have done that." So anyways the iPhone 7 plus wasn't scheduled to arrive at this store until 11/30... Well then it arrives a month a half early and NO ONE CALLED US to even let us know it arrived. The only way we knew it arrived was because I had also ordered an iPhone 7 plus for myself, at this same store, but for some reason it was shipped to another store. They called me to let me know it arrived, so for the heck of it we called this store to see if my husband's iPhone had also arrived and they told us it had. A week later we finally have the time to go to the stores and pick up our iPhones... mine is still at the store (not this one even though it was supposed to be shipped here), but my husband's phone WAS SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE by some jerk off named Sully. Now, we are currently sitting in this store while this guy figures out how to cancel the order for that iPhone so he can order him a new one, because they don't have a phone in stock to give him that hasn't already been claimed. Thank goodness for the two men working here today (11/18 @ 1530), they have been the only helpful employees we have come across throughout this entire process. With all that being said, we will NEVER go to this store, or any other of these "authorized retailers" ever again. read more

Was not greeted when walking through the door or browsing the selections. The phones they have in this store are just dummy ones. Sales person was very useless as he tried miss guiding my wife into several different plans even though I clearly stated what we wanted from the start. He also spent 15 minutes trying to convince her to get a different phone since the one she wanted wasn't in stock. After asking about a sign stating a large amount back for switching to Verizon he claimed we could only get half of what the sign said. We left immediately after that and took our business to an actual Verizon store in Glen Burnie where we received excellent service read more

We were told "you don't need insurance these phones are water proof and shatter proof.". We were told this because he wanted to sell us a more expensive phone and said if we got rid of our insurance, we would save money. Well now the jokes on us because we are being screwed over for taking this person's advice. Dont go here. read more

OMG where do I start with this review... I went into the store December 21st to do an upgrade as a Christmas gift for my daughter and get a new line since it was BOGO. (They had been a lot of theft with packages so I didn't want to chance it or I would have never went in store. I started the upgrade online so I would know exactly what needed to be done. ( I should have turned around when I saw the other customer crying in the other rep's chair) Julie greeted me I EXPLAINED exactly what I needed to do.. swap my upgrade and give it to my daughter. I also would need to pay 15% down since my upgrade was a few days early... She pulled up my account and said oh no I have away around that.. I said no my upgrade is on my daughter's line with a promotional discount...if you revise her line they will want my phone to be returned since I had used her upgrade...she said no no no I will check with my manager.. but you will be fine.. She then tried to make me get the more expensive phones even though I explained twice I do not want that phone. I read the fine print. So she does the upgrade and say ok you have to pay $175.00 I said what??? she said it is just to upgrade the line... I kept asking her ok you sure this is not going to effect my phone she said yes... she kept assuring me.. then she said Verizon wanted my daughter's phone which did not make sense ( it was an old Samsung with no value) she said yes as long as it is working...She then asked me for another 161.20 saying it was for the fees and taxes ( upgrade fee right..wrong) at this point I am getting flustered and paid the money to get going. So she says we are all set.. well when my emails came through I was leaving ... $35.00 for each phone on top of the upgrade fee, Verizon was requesting MY cell phone back which I so adamantly discussed I did not want to happen. I emailed her to explain the problem because of course she didn't answer the phone.. she responded once and never again.. I had to get VERIZON to fix it and they were the only one sympathetic to her screw up. So I was out $336.00 at Christmas time and this store took $70.00 out of me for doing NOTHING! PLEASE DONT GO HERE, they don't know what they are doing and why pay 35.00 per phone when they are not performing any customer service. read more

Now that I think about the normal verizon service I get at a branch this is location you wouldn't know is the same company if not for the sign. Not the worst but not good at all. It definitely doesn't follow the verizon customer service way I'm use to. read more
