My brother went to buy a phone and the manger of the store Jon-Claude Alexander sold them a phone. It said 2 day delivery and we got it in 3 days. He also didn't tell my brother about the $35 transfer data that they charge( he said they implemented this 5yrs ago). Then he activates the new phone without telling us about this fee. He just called it fees. Now I see he added a protection plan we did not want. So now we have to pay $17 month for the protection plan. This company is a scam and would not go there. Now I also see that the Verizon account on my mom says that she needs to activate the new phone so now I don't have a phone because we returned it same day, and now we can't buy one because we would loose the credit for the 650 and 200 from credit. Deserves zero stars. The absolute worst experience. Don't deal with Luis! This salesman has no clue what he's doing. Bought a phone with a BOGO deal. Luis failed to mention the need for an additional line to be added to receive the deal. He called me back 8 days later and told me to pay more for new line or return the phones. Both cost me more money I never agreed to while I was in the store. I appealed that with Cellular Sales Corp office. They originally told me 5-10 days for an official answer. After multiple calls, finally, 21 days later they said NO! They will not honor their employees mistake and I will have to pay full price ($800) for the phone I was sold on being free. Their reason. I was notified by the salesman that I did not fulfill the requirement within 14 days. Even though I was not told of this at the time of purchase and contract signing. So, now that it took them 21 days to make a decision, the promo ended and I can not return phones or add a line. I'm stuck with a new 2 year contract and on the hook for another $800. Thanks Luis! Came to the store with a specific need. Wanted to create a new account by claiming liability of an existing line and porting over an at&t line. 1) The main line was never moved to a new account. It was simply upgraded on the existing account. When I realized I had been lied to in store, this took me over an hour to rectify with Verizon directly. 2) The rep incorrectly imported existing icloud backup. This had to be redone afterward to correct. 3) A gentleman was upset because he was sent to this location from commack, and they had sold the phones he had come for in the half hour it took him to get there. They showed no remorse. Ironically, the first and only phone I wanted there didn't turn on. Likely selling a used phone as new. In any event, I had to go to commack location to get the one they had, and they were about to sell it when I walked in the door. While they were setting it up in commack, they were discussing how flawed the north Babylon location was. 4) In order to receive a rebate we had to do a mail in. To get the same deal on Verizon, it was instant. Ultimately, I'm disgusted because I felt we were lied to and brushed off by Melvin. Shame on me for getting caught up in the run around to get my phone and not reviewing all the paperwork. Please do diligently if you go here. I was in here 5 times during the last month and dealt with 5 different representatives (due to ordering different merchandise). Each time I came in, I discussed the possibility of changing my plan to the unlimited data plan. EACH PERSON QUOTED ME A DIFFERENT PRICE!! During my 4th visit, I finally decided to change my plan to the unlimited data plan. A short while later, I received an overage fee for going over data (which shouldn't happen if I had my new unlimited plan). So I just went back today to ask why I received an overage fee and was told that the representative never changed my plan for me when I asked them to (during my previous visit) and if I wanted the unlimited plan it would cost me an additional $20 per month more than the previous representative quoted. 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE QUOTED 5 DIFFERENT PRICES FOR THE SAME PLAN AND NOW I'M EVEN STUCK PAYING AN OVERAGE FEE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SWITCH MY PLAN LIKE THEY SAID THEY WERE? I'd honestly give them a zero if it was possible. For some crazy reason-probably only because it's so loacal- I keep coming back. Today is the last time I will ever come here for my cell phone needs. I went in to buy a case for the replacement iPhone I just received from their insurance company. I went in and went straight to the cases and picked one out in less than a minute. I'm standing there and after five minutes or so I ask for help and someone said one minute. I continued to wait patiently while one of the employees is frantically running around taking out trash complaining to his boss who's asking him to help out for a minute and he said he was supposed to leave a half hour ago. I continue to wait for about 20 more minutes and then just dropped the case and walked out. Customer service should be the forefront for any business and they have minimal, if any skills in this area. When I first came into this location I had a poor experience with the first sales person who helped me. He was rude and I was buying 2 new iphones.
