I reached out multiple times and got no updates at all. On Friday afternoon, I called them again and after a long, unclear conversation, they asked for more time. At 5:17 PM, I finally received a diagnostic video. They then told me the computer couldn't be repaired and the only option was a new motherboard costing over $800. Immediately after, they tried to sell me a brand‑new HP and quoted just over $1,200 including a data transfer. (I had already backed up everything to OneDrive, so the data transfer was unnecessary), and they were going to charge me for it. When I picked up my computer today, the person admitted he never reached out, never provided progress updates, and was not transparent that the diagnostic wasn't completed within the timeframe. The missed deadlines, lack of communication, upselling, and attempt to charge for services I didn't need left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. I cannot recommend Easy IT based on this experience.

We work hard to afford our homes and make them places we can enjoy. Anyone, whether it be an individual or company, who comes in and leaves things worse than they found them is a crappy human being. We had to babysit the people working in our yard who tried burying trash in the hole they dug. When confronted, the response we got was "Yeah, I know I shouldn't do that." I couldn't even get you guys to reimburse me $10 for the brand new sod you ripped out. You damaged my home and I will never do business with your company as long as I am alive.

After three weeks of not hearing anything I did receive a phone call and was told that while they replaced my screen they broke the center button and will have to order a new one. I said ok and after 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything and called and was told they were still waiting for the part. A week later I received a phone call letting me know that they had fried the mother board of my iPad and had to order a new iPad in to replace mine. A few days later I was called to let me know that my iPad arrived and was ready for pick up. They asked me where the Sim card was and I had left it in my old device that was damaged but it wasn't there any longer. When I arrived I was still charged for the screen repair of $200 dollars which I thought was a bit weird due to them taking two months to damage and replace the original but either way I paid it and left. I'm still puzzled where the Sim card went and why with my new device I never received a box with it just was handed it and walked out after paying. The customer service was not the best and the small town nice feeling was definitely not there. I worked with AT&T and will be getting a new sim card but as much as I like to shop local I won't be able to work with them again or even recommend them to anybody.

We looked up the Bitworks and went into Taylors Falls to see their shop. We were pleasantly surprised with the location and dropped off the desktop for repair. We had some work done and some other issues appeared when we got it home! I called and Riley and the owner of Bitworks worked to get it fixed. (A driver issue). Today it is fixed and working better than ever! Please give this business a try if you have ANY issues with your computers or phones. It will be great to have them as a local resource and keep them in business!

I know it's Repair, but this place saved my PC from Intel miscalibrating the voltages on two…read moregenerations of CPUs. I reached out to two other shops in town to try and get the CPU changed before it became a catastrophic problem. I got no response from one, and a "nah, good luck though" from another. Months later, it ceased being a "programs will crash without software intervention" issue and became a " " issue. I'd gotten phone battery replacements from them in the past, but this was something far more extreme. Still, they said they could help, and lo and behold, they did. When I learned that Intel had extended the warranty on the i9 13th generation chips to five years (because they'd effectively told motherboard manufacturers to microwave them), they were willing to let me work with the PC manufacturer to get a replacement. That took entirely too long, (thank you FedEx and UPS), but once I had the chip in hand, they had the replacement CPU installed and BIOS set up the same day I brought it in. In the end, they only wanted to charge me for the initial diagnostic since I provided the replacement part (eventually). I will absolutely be coming back.

I got estimates at 2 different places and CPR was by far the best. He had it done same day as promised. He gave my computer a mini check up as well and said everything was running efficiently.
