The optician said that in order to fix them, the warranty required me to pay 25% of the repair. I am very bothered that my entire family and I have seen optometrists At Woodbury Eye Clinic and we bought well over $1000 worth of contacts, corrective lenses and service for four of us and they want to charge me more because they sold me a product that is defective in workmanship, manufacturing, and/or design and they want to charge me more to repair it. I guess it is easy to get patients for this place because they seem not to mind if they lose me and my family.

They then checked them and agreed that they needed to be redone, without apology. My son was told that his frames were slightly bent during his eye exam. But no adjustment was made because he had to buy this replacement pair elsewhere while away at college - not exactly the way you would expect a long term customer to be treated. And finally, my daughter who has worn contacts for years was not given a contact lens prescription during her last appointment. Now she needs to spend time out of her day to come back for another exam - No appology given. Used to love this place. Sadly it's gone down-hill rather fast. My family of 4 will not be returning.

I came in with high hopes -- little did I know it would take almost 3 months to finally get my…read moreglasses. It started with my prescription needing to be adjusted, and the optometrist was incredibly condescending throughout the process. At first, Nikki was kind and said they'd remake the lenses with the new prescription. Weeks later, the lenses came back -- but with the old prescription. They remade them again, this time with the correct prescription, but then the frames broke, so they had to reorder them. When the new frames arrived, they were different from the original ones I chose. When I pointed this out, they insisted it was the same model and that the manufacturer "must have changed them." Instead of apologizing, they said they'd see which frames fit my lenses -- as if I should just accept whatever worked. By this point, I'd been back multiple times, only because of their repeated mistakes, yet they treated me like I was the problem. It wasn't until I insisted on a refund that they finally agreed to make another pair in the correct frames. This entire process was an absolute nightmare -- disorganized, rude, and completely lacking accountability. Steer clear.

Before they started the adjustment they made my wife sign a waiver because they do not sell Maui Jims any longer. The unexperienced technician took the glasses and started heating the center trying to turn a non wraparound frame into a wraparound frame, simply ridiculous. She shattered the lens handed them back to my wife without an apology. The manager basically said you signed a waiver it's not our problem and again no apology. So much for customer service

Update: 3 stars to 1. Picked up my new glasses on 12/1 between 12-2pm. New frames but it was still…read morescratched. I know it's not their fault but come'on. I tried to wear it the night I got it to Slander but not even a mile outside, I saw streaks of lights or rays coming out of every light sources. From lamps and car lights. Today 12/3 between 12-1pm, I brought it back and Tom accused me of taking my glasses home the first time around when it was him who I gave my glasses to to replace the frame.Then he said he couldn't replicate my problem. I also heard him and an eye tech laughing about my problem behind the counter. I told them it was AT NIGHT. NIGHT. Geez. They don't listen at all and WAS MAKING FUN OF ME. This Tom guy gave me an attitude the first second he saw me. I don't understand why. It is not my fault for having to visit this place this many times. On 10/09, I ordered 2 pair of glasses. One was to be ordered because they didn't have it in stock. The lady told me it'll come in a week. Within 2 days, 10/11, they texted me that my glasses were ready. For some odd reason, my phone received it but I don't remembered seeing it. For a whole month not a single person bothered to text or call me again to pick up glasses. The whole time I thought it they were just busy. That's why I waited a whole month. I eventually picked it up. But here comes the sus part. After I got home from picking it up, I noticed that one of the frame was all scratched up on the front. I immediately brought it back the next day. The dude told me they did not have it in stock and it will take at least a week. I then realized that they MUST'VE used the DISPLAY FRAME instead of ordering the new frame a month ago. That's how they got my glasses done in 2 days. Now, it's all just speculation but everything kinda adds up. Hopefully my new frame will be scratch free!

I was pleased that the eye department worked with me faithfully so I could follow my trusted eye doctor and make an appointment. A fairly specious clinic even though of course now seating is restricted due to you know what. Everyone was well covered and pleasant as we moved along and finished the appointment without delay. There was a little shocker at the end of the visit when my optometrist announced he's retiring ..so we have to find a new doctor anyway.
