No service with this carrier within the White Mountains and Whiteriver area. So frustrating, no signal and unable to use the service without connecting to Wi-Fi. I've called Verizon numerous time with no offer of a resolution or even a discount. I do not recommend this carrier. read more

I needed to switch my new iPad to my plan, as I traded mine in at the Apple store. Went in about 11:30am on Sunday and there was one employee working and a line of four behind the lady he was helping. Let's just say this poor guy and store needs help. However, he was helping a lady transfer a phone and doing small talk with her while things were transferring over. By this point 3-4 people have come and gone from the store, but understanding he was the only one working I was patient. 45 minutes later he hasn't moved on to help someone else, still talking small talk between he and the customer while the transfer from phone to phone is happening, more people are coming and going, and decided after almost an hour, I will just see if I can call customer support to activate my new device. This store needs help, and if you can't hire more people need to train on helping multiple customers at a time. read more

We stopped by not to buy, but because we needed some assistance. Dallas was very helpful and kind. Our problem (unable to use our phone's hotspot) could not be solved, but now we know to stop wasting time trying to connect when it won't work until Verizon figures out how to provide better coverage. At age 81, over the years I've dealt with computers, printers, hardware, software, and in the last 7 or 8 years, a smartphone. When my almost-a-year-old android phone started dropping my wifi when I attempted to connect to any bluetooth device -- including the device I use for my hearing aids -- I was at my wits' end. My interactions with Alex at Go Wireless in Lakeside has been nothing but superlative. He started off by re-setting my wifi, then when that didn't change anything, he backed up my phone (making sure everything was backed up) and then did a factory reset of my phone. He said the next step, if that didn't work, was to contact Verizon, my carrier, and request a new phone. With the strength of Alex's professional approach behind me, I did exactly that. Verizon agreed my phone was faulty and sent me a new phone. Alex was side-by-side with me all the way, and I can't praise him highly enough -- he and his store. They were right there with me all the way, offering every possible "fix," but also directing me to the Verizon company to replace a faulty phone. I am SOOOO happy to report that with Alex's notes, Verizon acknowledged that my phone needed to be replaced, which they did. And the new phone works PERFECTLY -- I can access and use any bluetooth device, and in particular, I can now use my bluetooth device on my hearing aids to make phone calls, which was absolutely essential. If you are in the Pinetop/Lakeside area and need help with your Verizon device, I hope you are fortunate enough to be in touch with Alex. He is the guy you can count on to help you. Being able to make wi-fi calls with my bluetooth-enabled hearing aids has made an incredible difference for me!! Thank you Alex!!!!!!! read more

UPDATE!!! You can read my previous review to understand the back story. Today I received a phone call from CONNERS manager. He wanted clarification on what happened when we came in. I proceeded to explain to him the situation, and was told CONNER is one of the best managers in Az and that it was out of his control because he was limited with trainees. He also stated its their job at that store to educate and help the customers with details on their phone and CONNER was the only one who could help ring people up. Even though we witnessed one of the trainees ring up one of the customers he was helping with her tablet. I understand commission and upselling if thats something they do at the store. But its still no excuse for making my husband and myself wait 2hrs to even be helped or acknowledged by CONNER. He not once checked on us, when it was our turn he spent about 30min with us. We told the trainee that greated us we were interested in postpay or prepaid and the Note9 deal they were running CONNER not once asked about any of that and at that point we just wanted our phones taken care of so we could get out of there. What a joke of a call, you said your the store owner, yet you argued with me and threatened to hang up on me. SOME GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU GENTLEMEN HAVE (and i use that term loosely) will be taking this up on yelp and the BBB. read more

I was going to buy a second phone from Go Wireless in Lakeside AZ, so I bought a protective case and screen protector and insurance for he iPhone 11 as well. A few days later I had surgery and realized that I would no longer have a use for the second phone and also would not be able to afford it! So I returned it to Joseph within the 14 days. When he was removing the screen protector and case it must have got scratched. He was fiddling with the phone and said oh it has a scratch you can not return it. I told him I am returning it to you and I want a refund. I left the phone and box and accessories with him at the store. Now I see they are trying to change me full price for the phone when I already returned it to Joseph and had the number disconnected. When I called him about this he is blaming me and said there were 2 other employees there. There were 2 others there but they were no where near us they were on opposite ends of the store helping other customers. He stated he won't refund my money and to come get the phone which I have returned. He wrong and needs to not take advantage of a 70 year old woman who just had surgery and no way of paying for that phone.! Terrible business, horrible customer service. Couple these attributes with their Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise and you've found a location upon which you can rely completely. To start off, this company will not get any rating based on my experience. My experience with this company is the worst I have ever been a part of. Some of the sales persons have good skills and understand customer service, a majority of them don't. However, the regional manager needs to be trained on how to use correct customer service skills before he can become a manager. So, for my experience. I had bought 4 phone in the last year and was ready to upgrade 2 of my phones. I upgraded one and was ready to upgrade the other. When I signed the contract it states that you have 14 days to exchange or return your device if you are not happy or if something has changed. within the two week I exchanged one time so that I could see if I would be more comfortable with that mobile device instead of the old device. I didn't like the second device so I went in to ask if I could exchange one more time to see if I would like the third device. At the same time the new promotion came out giving 100.00 off a upgraded phone. I upgraded 2 days before, so I asked if I could have that incentive. One of the sales people said, "Oh I will email my regional rep to see if he will honor that". I asked when we would hear from him. The sales person said as soon as possible but HE'S BUSY SO I'M NOT SURE? Really? So I didn't hear from any of them the next day so I went to the store and sat for an hour as the dragged their feet to help me. Finally the sales person I dealt with said to the manager, "Can I talk to you in the back", as if I didn't know what they were talking about. As the manager came out I asked what they were discussing about me in the back. The manager proceeded to make up a story that his employee want to ask to go home (Excuses). Anyways, the manager tried to act like he didn't know the promotion was going on? Really? So he proceeded to waste time looking at his computer to buy time. After a while he went in the back to talk to his "Regional Rep". After 10 more minutes he came out and said that the manager would not honor the promotion and that he would let me exchange. "You can just return the phone and pay 35$ restocking fee". Really? To make a longer story short, It does not state anywhere in the paper work that you only get one exchange. I sat and heard them tell three other customers that they can exchange within the two week but NEVER told them they can only exchange once? Really? False advertising. So, To end this boringness, I would never ever recommended this business for any electronic device needs!! The Regional rep need to get a life and learn that the customer is always right regardless of the situation. Many of us have been in his position we know what his job is. I would engage in online shopping. It's cheaper and you don't have to put up with the horrible customer service and they will give you THE PROMOTIONS.
