Stood there waiting until 3:30 while the manager and another employee stood there just talking and laughing so I left. There is no getting out of this place quickly BUT they have solved complicated issues for me. This store on Kalamazoo Ave is the one to go to if you have a problem with your phone. I had gone to the little Verizon store on Byron Center Ave by Gezon and they are not authorized to repair or troubleshoot phones. read more

You walk in and wait around aimlessly hoping to be helped. Then by luck you get "checked in" which just puts you in another line. Meanwhile, phone alarms keep going off despite no one being by them. Brutal service and processes. Just needed a SIM card and have been waiting 25 min and haven't been seen yet. read more

Went in to buy the Samsung 22 Ultra, they were super helpful and answered all my questions. Explained all plans, let me pick out cases that weren't even out yet. Great customer service from what i've experienced. read more

Never go here. This store is completely unhelpful. Went there with my family to try to get help with our plan. They said they wouldn't allow two people I. The store because they have 6 people in the store, who are all employees, just standing around. Manager was beyond rude. I understand with covid things are different, but you should t have 6 employees there if your max is 7. Having 3-4 employees is enough with the work being as low as it is and that way you can help customers who come in. read more

Terrible service. Went in last night and the guy working was so callous and rude. We waited 30 minutes to speak with someone (despite our appointment) and when we did, he was short, brief and unhelpful. We were clearly just another sale which he made clear when he said "Verizon stores don't do data transfers because it can take an hour and we need to finish these appointments in ten minutes or less." He told us I'd have to do the transfer myself and call a hotline for help. When my dad incredulously asked if the Apple store would do the data transfers if we went there, he was aloof and said "I work for Verizon not apple." My dad was stunned and asked, "excuse me?!" He repeated himself. My dad's blood pressure went through the roof and he indicated that "this wasn't cool." Not an ounce of customer service. Clearly this guy figured his commissions were rolling heavy that night and a sure bet-- no need for professionalism. Funny enough, I was just speaking with one of my coworkers about my bad experience at the Kzoo Ave Verizon and he cut me off with "no way! I had the worst experience Monday!" We then both described the exact same guy, down to the mannerisms. So uncaring and so aloof. My coworker and his bro left in dismay as well from their visit. My advice: go to Rivertown Best Buy! They were so helpful and went above and beyond. Ironically, they're not on commission and were leagues better professionals than the tripe attitudes over at the Kzoo Ave Verizon location. read more

NEVER go to this Verizon store. They have set up a shady operation here and do not adhere to Verizon policy. I was going to upgrade my phone here but they were not going to let me take my original phone home with me so that I could switch it over to the new one. Something I have done every single time I have upgraded so I went somewhere else and upgraded my phone. Then I called Verizon after I got the phone switched over and they said I could take the old phone to any Verizon store and they would send it back for me and give me a tracking number. I tried to drop it off at this store and they refused to take it. I told them that Verizon said I could drop it off there and he still said he would not take it. They are extremely rude and condescending. I tried to ask for the general manager's contact info and he (Wali) refused to give it to me. I'm extremely disappointed and Verizon should be investigating this store. read more

Have good coverage...that's about it for the positive side of them. My mother bought insurance with her iphone 4 a few years ago, when it was stolen, they wanted her to pay $200! She found and I agree that she was ripped off via their insurance. We immediately all switched and they lost 6 customers! We now have 5 smartphones and one basic, unlimited talk and text with AT&T for only $200 a month! (1 iPhone 5s, 1 slide out keyboard phone, and 4 Samsung Galaxy s3's) read more
