I let it sit around for another 10 months before I went by the store again. The 2 new salesman told me that the definition of "lifetime" is the battery's lifetime, which can be any arbitrary number - not "as long as you own the battery." THIS IS CLEARLY DECEPTIVE PRACTICE AND DESERVES LITIGATION JUST ON PRINCIPLE.
