I received a new 5G Motorola Edge mobile device (I guess that is what they are now called), so I stopped by Verizon to have the data from my old G4 Samsung device transferred to my new one and to get the new one initiated. It turned to be no easy task, taking some three days because my new phone had somehow had an unnoticed 4G SIM card installed which doesn't work on a 5G network phone. I had three different people assist me and working with them was a pleasure as they were all helpful, professional and polite. Really 5-star people who found the problem, put in a 5G SIM and got everything working just fine. The Verizon facility looks new, has a good atmosphere about it and follows all of the COVID-19 rules. Being located between Ruth Chris and a waterway in the 2501 Plaza the drive to it can easily be missed, so be aware. Maybe because of COVID-19 there are no chairs generally available for customer seating. However, as I can stand for any length of time, they did kindly provide me with one.

I would like to rate this place higher but in good conscience, I cannot. The employees were nice enough and they got us out fairly quickly. But the attitude of the salesperson left much to be desired. We came here because a cellphone met a watery death. In all fairness to the phone, there was alcohol involved. That's as much as I am willing to divulge. After copious amounts of research on the new phone, we went to the store. The salesperson suggested the iPhone X (we were replacing a 7). The look on his face when we told him we wanted the 8 was highly unprofessional. This man should never play poker. He was even worse when we declined the case, the screen protector and the warranty. Are these guys on commission? We got exactly what we wanted but had the salesperson been more professional this review would have been a five star. As it is, three is the best I can give.

Justin B. is amazing. Great customer service. However, once you get here, you have to wait to get signed in. Nonetheless, Justin B. is a wonderful asset to Verizon.

Hard Case Acquired For My iPhone SITREP - YSB 15 Even though I'm looking at upgrading my iPhone 4s to a 6 in the next month or two, the current rubber case for my iPhone is falling apart at the seams and not giving any protection to the iPhone should is slip through the rubber case. THE SETUP I'm here at Yelp Spring Break (YSB) 2015 Ft. Lauderdale, and the last thing I need is a cracked, broken iPhone right when I need to take pictures and write tips & reviews. So I went on a hunt to find a new iPhone 4s case. It was not easy... A few electronics store has girlie iPhone 4s cases on clearance for under $10, but I was not desperate enough to be seen with a Power Puff Girl or Pretty Princess Pony case. Office Depot was just OUT of them altogether. The AT&T Store was out as well. The 4s is an older smaller model, so not the prime product to be selling with the 5 and the 6 models out there now. VERIZON However, on my way back to the hotel, I just happened to see the Verizon store and figured, "Well, why not." I mean, they're not my telecom (AT&T is), but they sell iPhone toos, so let's check it out. *BINGO* The gentleman at the counter had one more regular hard case (in the back - it wasn't even a product they put on the floor anymore), and for $32 (pretty pricey, but what can you do), it was all I needed. THE LOWDOWN Thank you for expensive, but much needed iPhone 4s black hard case.

Thank you Verizon for; draining my account, over charging, just a & REAL ROYAL BAD F*CK

OMG.... I think I found my favorite store in SoFlo. I have been to this store more than 3 times and…read moreeach time, I have experienced nothing less than a positive, professional store. I went to get my iPhone 6s Plus phone fixed due to some charging issues I was having, and he was able to fix it for $45 or less. After taking my phone to T-Mobile and being told that I would have to buy a new iPhone (which would ultimately cost me $1,000+), I went back to Wireless Tech on a hunch that they may be able to fix the problem. Surprise, they did! On my 2nd visit, I witnessed a transaction between the store manager and a girl who needed to get her phone's camera fixed. He was polite and fixed it within 30 mins. She was shocked, as she was in and out in less than a day (and without having to buy a new phone). On my 3rd visit (6/19/2019), I went back and had them replace the battery in the same phone. Again, I paid about $45 plus tax (not $1,000). On both of these occasions, it only took about 20 minutes to fix. I am giving them 5 Stars because they are an excellent example of what a repair shop should be. Again, if you are looking for a store to get your iPhone fixed, this is the place.
